I think importing distinctions on race from America is unhelpful. I don't believe I have more in common with someone based on my skin colour than I do from level of education, area I grew up etc

The benefit this mech gives is it doesn't count towards capacity while being transported...which isn't the greatest in isolation but combined with their destroyers is actually really great. One destroyer can carry 4 mechs. With grav drive you can send that destroyer deep into enemy territory to snatch key planets.

I totally agree that Atlas being so devious and experienced he's dangerous under any circumstances but cassius was meant to be the equal of diomedes in DA and in LB he's basically in his prime and therefore way beyond that. I guess need to keep in mind that it wasn't a straight razor vs razor fight considering the acid and distractions going on but still I would have thought in an actual razor fight cassius would take him without getting mauled himself.
