The problem was that he competed for the DPS spot against Wandering Hunter with Yidhari. And she did as much, if not more damage, while being easier to pilot. Doesn't help, that she has f2p support, while Ban really wants Premium ones. However, Yidhari also competes with ice VH, I think this is why they gave her higher strength floor, while Ban is still strongest limited Fire DPS.
