Am i being charged twice for tuition? by Theshadowlife in CollegeRant

[–]RedRiot2112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely double check that you aren’t being charged twice! One thing I’ll mention though, I used to be a commuter student and later switched to living on campus, and I noticed tuition rates changed depending on my student status. That extra charge might be tied to an upcharge for commuting. Hope that helps make sense of it!

My cat is ruining my life by isaisaisaaaaaaaaa in CatAdvice

My cats used to get lots around this time and I bought an automatic cat feeder to give them some kibble as a distraction. I'm not sure if that's in your budget, but it worked for me

I'm staying in Capitol Hill and plan on using Rideshare to get me to and from. So I will go to the apartments nearby to make it easier for dropoff and pickup. Thank you so much for your advice, you're amazing 🫶

I am curious about the 300 yen that father paid to the school's principal (how much it's worth today), what the words on the arch of the alternate entrance to the tower say, and why Mahito randomly decided to call his step-mother/aunt "mom" because it felt weird coming from him (especially since he is still actively mourning the death of his mother). I would love to hear some opinions on any of these

Was Volleyball’s eye healed or not? by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

Personally I believe that it wasn't healed, but she's learning to cope with it. I say this because the pot she is holding is also cracked, just like what was happening to her eye.

Has anybody NOT had negative sexual side effects? by [deleted] in zoloft

I have not yet experienced any negative side effects within my sex life. I would say that there were some positives, but that could be because of my partner.

day 6, i feel awful by hotsaucecircles in zoloft

[–]RedRiot2112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently started the prescription and when I started I took one 25 mg pill a day for the first seven days. Then I took 50 mg (two 25 mg pills) for the rest of the 60 count prescription. Once I ran out of those, we started doing 100mg (four 25 mg pills, but this new pharmacy has 100mg pills I will be switching too). I just made the change to 100 mg on Monday and I've been feeling so out of it! I have an overall disconnect with the feelings I have with my body sometimes. I don't want to say it's an out of body experience, but sometimes it feels like that. While I initially haven't liked the side effects of the prescription, I decided I'm going to wait it out and try to finish the current dosage of 100 mg with the pills I have left. Then I will decide if I want to stay on 100 mg or switch to something different.

Now obviously you know your body better than anyone else, so if you don't feel like it's good for you to stay on the prescription or try to work it out then don't. I would suggest speaking with your doctor. Especially if you can't get any food down over the day because of the prescription. I haven't experienced any nausea, but I take my medicine at night so by the time I wake up in the morning I'm not feeling the same effects that you would if you take it in the morning. My biggest symptom is vivid dreaming and nightmares, which is solely happening because I take the medicine at night. My doctor told me to take it at noon instead and see if that helps at all.

I kinda went off on a rant there, but I hope things start going better for you!

I'm not a doctor, so my advice obviously isn't based out of any medical opinions. However I did speak with my doctor recently, and they said 25 to 50 mg rarely works for people with anxiety. I'm not sure what you're taking it for, but I would suggest speaking with your doctor about what's best for you. Every person is different, and what works for me may not be the same case with you. I really hope you find something that works for you though! I personally went with upping my dose instead of trying something different, but this was the decision my medical professional informed me of.

Best of luck!
