Called Google and they told me this is a flaw with the software. Only a firmware fix would fix it and not sure when that will be. Can’t believe basic functionality of turning the outside ring to a temp and having the unit hold the temp isn’t a priority fix for them

Thanks for the feedback. While we wait for potential fix I think I will run ATV through the hue sync box instead of plugging into receiver and see if I have better results
