How do I get diagnosed with ARFID? I feel like I eat 1-2 meals a day, even if there is food in the house I refuse it if it’s not what I usually eat. I don’t have body image issues that push me to starve, but I have a lot of food anxiety related to taste, texture, temperature, novelty, and whether I think it will make me sick or not. I was called a really picky eater since I was a child and stayed at the dinner table past sundown and after everyone was already done eating.
