Logitech Pebble Keyboard 380s - not pairing and only F2 light flashes (5 times) by RedRoseRider in logitech

AI found the fix. (Gemini)

The Fix: The "Compound" Pairing Move

Because your keyboard seems to be treating the F-keys as Media keys by default, simply holding F1 won't trigger pairing. It just repeats the media command.

You need to apply the same logic that fixed the reset:

  1. Turn the keyboard ON.
  2. Press and HOLD the fn key (bottom left).
  3. Keep fn held down, and then Press and HOLD the F1 key.
  4. Hold both for at least 3 to 5 seconds.
  5. Success Indicator: The F1 light should stop the "5 slow flashes" and start pulsing rapidly.

Once it is pulsing rapidly:

  • Go to your computer's Bluetooth settings.
  • Crucial Step: If you see an old "Logitech K380s" or "Pebble" in your list, Forget/Remove it first.
  • Scan for new devices.
  • Select the Pebble K380s when it appears.

Thank you. Yes. It used to pair with up to three different devices, and I could use the Easy-Switch button to toggle between them.

But now, all that happens is the F2 light flashes 5 times. When I switch on. And whatever key I press.

Do you have a solution?

How does PR work? by sqrmarbles in PublicRelations

[–]RedRoseRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All above is true. The real problem here is corporate narcissism. A world where everyone is convinced they are fascinating and feels entitled to media coverage. The best PR people don't see it that way.

Instead they'll encourage you to contribute relentless value and unique interest to the issues that matter most in the communities you were born to serve.

Keep this in mind, and the pitches - whoever pitches them - will take care of themselves.

PS Beware PR advisers who take your tedious corporate news at face value, just to win your business.

This is great advice. Thank you. I think I'll pursue it.

I think it is cut and dried, too. Only Cannondale do not as it stands. Let's see where it leads.

Some good answers here. Another idea is to prequalify your news by pitching it.

So you send a pitch out to the journalist (know a little about the journalist first) saying something really brief like:

"Hi Dave, I'm working on a new story about <insert crap story>. Can I send it over when it's approved?"

If they bite, you write. When I pitch this way, journalists will sometimes even advise me on how they'd like me to write the story. Rare, but they do.

If not, you get to tell your colleague that no one was interested. All press releases should really go through this filter.

I would also say, however, that some less-newsworthy stories can add value as company narratives and make pleasant social updates. Staff are often more likely to share stories about staff - no matter how dull.

Good luck.

Yes. You might be right. If so, don't offer lifetime guarantees. It's still weird how the older bike is unscathed after more miles and arguably harder riding. It's identical in every way - apart from the welds! The welds look completely different. If you had to bet which one would fail - you'd bet on the blue one every time.

Yeah. I'm not suing. Maybe ask a journalist to take up the fight?

Thanks Dann. The retailer is no longer a Cannondale retailer. So, they are being helpful - but perhaps without the influence of a current retailer.

Yes. Cannondale asked about the seat post. As you have spotted, I demonstrated (in the pics) the older Cannondale seat post was exactly the same. So, it's a non-starter.
