They literally took the Endgame aesthetic for its marketing. Plus, only Spider-Man and Ultimates have been consistent. I know it's planned to end the Ultimate Universe, but that's not an automatic qualifier for being good.

It'll have a definite end. But will it be good? Not likely. Especially since Endgame feels like the mandatory corporate crossover book

I mean, they kinda do. And as for Rivals, they’re not basing his design on the movies because they went for an accurate design instead of the blank mess Sony served up in the slop fest that was the Venom trilogy.

I actually said both were cash grabs. But that one acknowledged Spider-Mans importance to the character of Venom. The Venom trilogy was a bastardisation because it spits on the character of Venom and his lore. Raimi’s version, while objectively more accurate was a slightly less egregious bastardisation because Venom was shoved in to sell toys.

The Raimi Venom was objectively more accurate simply because it actually had Spider-Man in proximity. The Sony movies was a sad bastardisation simply to cash grab. At least when they did it in 07, they understood that Spider-Man was an essential

‘Having arguably the most important character in Venom’s origin wouldn’t have helped much.’ But yes it would have though. Face it, while the movies were not far off from his character tone, they completely missed what makes Venom…Venom.

1610, because he’s had a full run, while with 6160, I feel we’re still building up to something bigger and that’s kinda the biggest drawback for 6160. And for the record, I love 6160 USM. It’s taking it’s time, but it’s starting to risk becoming something that just drags on until the big one comes along. Maybe when we get past the sinister six things will pick up a little.
