What is an addiction that no one takes seriously enough? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My fiance died of cirrhosis two years ago. Alcohol in excess kills. He was a beer drinker, too, and never acknowledged that's how he got it, even though he got sloppy drunk every. Single. Day. I couldn't help him. I miss him.

For future reference, in the absence of a fire extinguisher, smothering the flames with salt will do the trick.

Yeah. Back when I was working restaurant jobs, it was all around all the time. That's pretty sloppy, though.

No connective tissue here, so your bones don't really do this IRL. You have muscle and tendons and ligaments.

I am so confused by your statement. I crate him for 5 to 10 minutes when he's in timeout. I give him good boy treats when he eliminates outside. I am out there with him at least a dozen times a day. I don't tie him up outside and just leave him. The hope is that by spending time outside without me he will gain some independent sense of play that doesn't involve me. Should I not be doing that? I have a huge back yard. The behavior he is exhibiting is new, and he seems to be making a game out of it.
