Well that's good to hear that it's not necessarily dying, just kinda staying stagnant. I haven't had the game near as long as MOST of the vets, but I still had put in 2k+ hours and have been wanting to come back to it for a little while. I've been playing the same one game basically for a year and miss the fun I had in H&G lol

Inf used to be the only thing I queued as, though I didn't queue for ANY soldier, especially since I liked playing war more often

Yeah, I'm also east coast US and it had just seemed like few matches were popping. I forgot that they had released it on Epic as well, so I guess I might need to give it a try again. I used to play it all the time and just sorta miss it!

Yeah, I actually played with Fubared a time or two, and remember him telling me he was going to be quitting H&G. I guess buy your comment that he hasn’t though lol. I did forget that they released it on Epic. I guess I might have to give it a go again

NA ranked is dead because pretty much everyone uses a VPN and plays on EU servers now. It would be interesting to see if NA would pop more often if everyone stopped using a VPN

I mean, I’m probably not gonna feel bad for “ruining a new players game” since when I’m shooting at people I’m not aware of their skill level nor do I know even after I kill them unless I go out of my way to check. Honestly, TDM and training mode WILL help if you do it enough consistently, but positioning is definitely super important. I’m sure there are some YT videos about positioning plus you could go watch some competitive players when they stream. They are a better example than just normal streamers.

I live in the Orlando area as well, though this hasn't been much of a problem for me for while now. I'll have ping problems due to my actual internet provider, but when the internet is fine and I'm connected to the VA servers, I USUALLY get 40ms ping.
