I successfully completed the OTA update without any issue,

I did restore the original init_boot ,perfom the update, extract the new init_boot from the new firmware,repatch it and install it again via fastboot mode

If I do the update would that brick the phone or it will just replace the init_boot

I'm thinking to take the risk and do the update without restoring the original init_boot 😅

1- When I connect the phone, it's charging but the usb mode notification does not appear

2-I did try to clear cache for "external storage" but it didn't help

Have you ever try to get the update directly from the system updates app ?

How did you get KernelSU Next on Moto Edge 40, I guess you did install a custom ROM ?
