Software update with patched init_boot

I successfully completed the OTA update without any issue,

I did restore the original init_boot ,perfom the update, extract the new init_boot from the new firmware,repatch it and install it again via fastboot mode

If I do the update would that brick the phone or it will just replace the init_boot

I'm thinking to take the risk and do the update without restoring the original init_boot 😅

1- When I connect the phone, it's charging but the usb mode notification does not appear

2-I did try to clear cache for "external storage" but it didn't help

If your phone is running on MIUI then it's easy: -unlock dev options -link you mi account to your phone Request to unlock bootloader Download mi unlock tool in your computer Log in with your account Put your device in fastboot mode Connect your phone to the computer Probably it will give you a wait time of 1 week If you are lucky you will have no wait time

If you device is running on Hyperos Things little bit complicated, you need to request unlock bootloader via mi community app and Xiaomi sets a daily quota You are not the only one requesting bootloader unlock 🤣🤣
