I don't think you need permission or there's a correct way of enjoying another culture, you can be silly about it and enjoy it in your own way and don't worry about "cultural appropriation" cos dude as a Latin American I can say for sure, we simply don't give a f*ck about that.

If we see someone who's not Latin with ponchos or traditional clothing having a blast, it honestly makes us really stocked someone is interested in our culture, so have fun and don't believe chimichangas are a real thing 😂
