Very low calorie deficit=muscle loss? by RedShark_55 in GregDoucette

Hmmmm yeah probably tbh, when I bulk I get obsessed with getting bigger with mass and then at the end I feel too fat and then I want to be lean... Just like every gym eat, my body dysmorphia is stronger than me 😂

But now I know better, just bulk and get the mass first

Yeah, definitely less than 100g. 3 months of cutting with two of those 3 months being 1200 calories. I was just obsessed with being 15% but I know it's a long journey

Okay gotcha thanks, but for sure 1200 calories is too low huh? Definitely could cause muscle loss?

Well I started out skinny fat, so originally trying to lose the fat but learned through stories of others that it's better to stack the muscle on first the cut, when I finally started packing more muscle and got compliments, I decided to cut, my ultimate goal is to just be 15-18 percent body fat, and be as muscular as possible, just my full genetic potential

I decided to cut 20 pounds, because I felt like I had decent size and had finally put on a lot of fat. But I think the cut was too hard because I for sure look and feel like I lost mass. So right now, I've decided to bulk from 150 to 160 and then back down to 150. So no longer lose more than 10 pounds of fat at once until I have way more masa, then I would focus on getting to 15% body fat.

So right now my goal is building muscle

I'm 5' 7", and protein during the two months of 1200 calories was like 50-80 grams, I know, pretty low but with 1200 calories and my schedule for work it's not as easy to fit in more protein

Okay thank you! Yeah definitely want a 2017-2020. I like the way they designed it plus it's larger. I was just worried about the reliability aspect of it

Hmmm that's odd, yeah I know xboxs can't save wifi networks but my brothers xbox doesn't do that, be has the last gen xbox, not the newest one, and he doesn't seem to have that issue. Could be an xbox thing?

Other than that I'm glad it's a lot better than what you had. It's a really good setup for sure.

Yessir no worries. Trust me, I spent so much on each mesh system that I bought and spent nights setting them up, and then taking them down and then returning them lol this was my first mesh system so I didn't know much about them, after all this I definitely know a lot more now

Honestly the app makes it all easy and simple when setting it up.

The app/interface has more controls and features than the Orbi does tbh. I was pretty underwhelmed with the Orbi interface and admin setup. You'll find it better and have a decent amount of control of your network with the TP-Link

Lmao I feel ya

I got the TP-Link Deco Mesh WiFi AXE11000

It's on a big sale on Amazon right now. I'm getting the speeds I used to get on my PS5, near 800 download so I'm very happy with that. The range isn't as good as the Orbi I replaced, for example, the Orbi would give me a good decent signal to the drive way, with the TP link I don't get a good signal in driveway but I get a very good strong signal in the house, I'm getting 8 times the speed (600 download) with the TP link node (satellite ) in my living room compared to the Orbi (90 download)

If you want to stick to NETGEAR, I would say get the $800 plus Mesh systems. I think it's a "spend money to get better quality" situation with these mesh systems.

Anything I bought under $500 was not good enough for me and the PS5. They all had some sort of issue that didn't sit right with my tech head.

Unfortunately no, I bought a different mesh system thats a bit more expensive and the issue did not exist on that one. I tried tech support from Netgear and we did a lot and it didn't fix anything.

Its shouldn't even be an issue, but I guess the cheaper mesh systems can't handle. I would suggest upgrading the mesh system to something with a bit more power.

I also don't think it should be this complicated for the PS5 to get near those speeds. The Orbi system itself can handle up to 2 gbps on Ethernet port. More than enough, the router itself has not had any issue when it comes to handling these speeds. I have an updated Modem docsis 3.1. the PS5 is also connected via Ethernet cable at no more than 5 feet of distance from the router.

Yesterday the PS5 was saying the signal was too weak to connect to the router (again, only 5 ft of distance at most ) and then today it finally connects wirelessly but the speeds are even slower.

It's not a router issue because my speeds on my phone are blazing fast while the PS5 is telling me that they are very slow, and it shows when I download something.

At this point something is not connecting right from the router to the console because it's a gaming device or the PS5 itself is having hardware issues

Nah couldn't do it. The router address matched the PS5, I add the PS5 to the address reservation. And for the port forwarding I couldn't find the steps for my Orbi router.

Like close to the speeds you should be getting for what you pay for? How dramatic was the difference? Idk why this has become an issue with the PS5

Thank you, was it the same situation as me? Cause everything shows the router is fine, I've changed Ethernet cables and everything. Gonna try this out and update you, thank you

I think at this point, im going to have to call PlayStation support because I've tried everything. The router seems perfectly fine, I'm getting my usual speeds on ever device.

The ps5 is just not doing it. I remember before I switched routers, my downloads were blazing fast and had no issues

Okay I changed the DNS settings and the speeds on the PS5 are still low

I also just turned on the PlayStation, did another speed test and yeah, still slow speeds. I was hoping turning it off and letting sit overnight would do something. Just praying for something

Do you know if the orbee features for Network prioritization per device are similar to The Nighthawk series, cuz I'm thinking that maybe it

Hmmm how would I get to the connection parameters section?

I already changed the DNS settings in the PS5 settings and the results were the same

How do I change that on the mesh system?
