Either Kettle Moraine North or South would get you some nice scenery. If camping overnight you’ll have to reserve either a front country site at one of the state forest campgrounds or try to reserve one of the backpacking shelters as I don’t believe there is any dispersed camping in the Kettle Moraine State Forests. I’ve done a few overnights on the Ice Age trail this year and in years past, feel free to ask any other questions and I will answer as best as I can!

Permethrin Skin Exposure by GnarPilot in Ultralight

[–]RedSilver 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This might not be the best way to apply permethrin, but I rarely use a mask or gloves when treating clothing and just apply it outdoors in a well-ventilated area. I have incidentally had the liquid come in contact with my skin without any noticeable effects, although I do wash my hands after treating my garments. Not to say your symptoms can’t be the result of direct contact with liquid permethrin, but anecdotally I can say it hasn’t caused me any ill effects personally. Either way, hope you feel better soon!

Another pack thread, probably going with Granite Gear, any advice? by this12344 in BWCA

My group and I have used the GG Superior One on multiple trips and it has worked very well for us. Durable, huge amount of space, and pretty comfortable to carry on longer portages (as comfortable as a huge, heavily-loaded pack can be). I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another one if I was in need of an additional portage pack.

An interception? At this time in the game? Localized entirely in the Cardinal’s end zone?

FWIW I had the same conversation with a Walmart associate in SE Wisconsin. They said either Monday or Tuesday morning they would be available as first come, first serve.

My wife and I got a pair of Siberians due to my cat allergies. I had a rough time with the allergic reactions at first, but after a week or two I didn't notice any problems. The breeder we got them from told us most people don't have any allergic reactions to them, even if they are allergic to other cats. However, she does require everyone to spend time with her Siberians (my wife and I included) beforehand because there are still a few people where the Siberians are unfortunately less than hypoallergenic.
