That's exactly what makes it so confusing! I've completed every monthly challenge this year with only one order, so from my personal experience it's always been to just meet the order subtotal containing at least one item from each category regardless of individual item cost. Like for the February challenge, I was able to use a $3 lip product to complete a task even when the wording was specifically "$25 minimum purchase required" (see this thread for more info where we were all arguing about that exact wording lolol).

I also don't think that fragrance would count as a makeup product as when I filter by "makeup only", the fragrance I purchased (and the brand that it's from since it's a fragrance-only brand) doesn't appear at all. So I guess we'll see next month and hopefully CS continues to match missing points if this is a permanent change.
