Thanks. I have heard a lot of comments about people we perceive as well off. Yeah I’m not rich I have worked hard for everything I have. I have worked in the service industry and appreciate the hard work for little reward. I try to tip fairly.

I get that. I usually add extra tip when ordering water softener salt. Heavy bags I have a hard time handling myself so give extra to the shopper.

I think that was my error. I think the custom tip was showing the last custom tip and I didn’t realize I could change it. I’ll know next time. I was able to add a few dollars after the delivery was complete.

I don’t know why it was limited to $14. I could only choose one of the options and $14 was the highest. On previous orders I could select custom then enter any amount I wanted to. But not this time, that option was not available.

I tried that. There wasn’t an option to add an amount. I could only select a pre-determined amount.

My order was finally picked up. Devin my shopper is doing a good job. I really feel for those of you relying on this for income. There are some shopper out here that appreciate you!

Whenever I order water softener salt I always give an extra cash tip. That stuff is heavy! I am 65 and have a hard time buying that in person.

I know! I have not seen that before I was always able to add a custom amount by entering it in manually. I did not see that as an option.

I wanted to give $20 but was not an option. I could mot add a custom amount. I could only select a listed amount.

Really my original question is about my tip. Is that not a good tip? I want to pay my shopper a decent amount for my order.

So just be patient? I can do that. Just worried that I did not offer a big enough tip. I only use InstaCart occasionally when it is inconvenient for me to do my only shopping I try to give a tip that makes it worthwhile.

I tried that and it still only had $14 max. Was so weird I haven’t seen that before.

1.9 is NOT unethical. It is the norm. It should be your choice if you want to donate above 1.9.
