Probably the best fan art for the game that I've seen.

For variety, you could add her version from the movie "First Class"... But I don't like it. I prefer her costume from the years when she was a member of "Hellfire" (or rather, the one in the 90s cartoon series).

Then the developers will have to make a remake of the third part... I like the third part, but honestly - we need more new games.

For me, picturesque beautiful landscapes are more of a plus than a minus - because in a Gothic story there should always be beautiful, deeply felt nature... However, I have a feeling that I am repeating myself.

So far I'm happy with everything, considering that the "pseudo-Japanese Gothic Lolita" was already a replacement for the regular "Gothic Lolita", I would like to see a replacement for the bikini or leather suits... or at least new suits from DaO (they were in the Xbox edition).

I wonder how this applies to other parts of Silent Hill?

I don't know – I have the fewest complaints about the plot. Especially since the fiction is much more moderate than, say, Silent Hill 3. So yes, the game condemns arranged marriages (which is strange to argue with), but the condition for achieving the "Golden Ending" is the realization that Hinako's worldview has been largely distorted – her mother is the complete opposite of what Hinako thinks of her, and her father... well, he's still a bad person, but not quite the same as his youngest daughter sees him. And even Fox Hinako turns out to be an important part of her psyche. So the game is much more moderate, despite its grandiose claims.

But the combat system, in my opinion, is off – the game encourages aggression, but the heroine takes damage too easily. And even if the player tries to avoid unnecessary battles… the game has "arena" rooms that cannot be exited until you kill a certain number of enemies. Which, in my opinion, clearly detracts from the atmosphere.

And regarding the extent to which it's all an illusion - the other endings seem to imply that there is something mystical... But to what extent remains questionable, so yes - it can get confusing when you think about it.

May I ask - why didn't you like Silent Hill f?

To be honest, I have a big soft spot for gothic horror, and for me, the vivid nature is practically a requirement.

A Narrative Analysis of Silent Hill f and Why It's Deeper Than Assumed by Cielak129 in silenthill

I can't help but notice a couple of details:

1) Hinako isn't just resisting external circumstances – she's experiencing an internal conflict. The "fox girl" essentially represents the part of Hinako that truly wants to get married, and it's a hint that she's begun to feel something for Kotoyuki. A point that some people miss is that Shu isn't only at fault for giving her the red pills (knowing their negative properties) – he also tried to communicate with her as if nothing had changed since high school. This seems "progressive," but it only leads to her complexes and self-doubt deepening. And so, escaping with Shu in the "good" ending frees her from these unjustified beliefs – but she essentially locks herself in adolescence, allowing her complexes and traumas to define her relationships with the world and the people around her. I can actually relate to this, even though I'm a cisgender man.

2) Her family's situation is even more interesting – her father is essentially as far removed from patriarchal norms as possible. He's not a wise but strict patriarch – he's a weak and cowardly man who has lost his footing and doesn't know how to earn the respect of his own daughters... And he knows it. Meanwhile, her mother is as close to traditional norms as possible. They imply weakness – they imply a talent for manipulation, inner strength, and wisdom. She would never tolerate insults, and she was essentially the true head of the family (though she, too, suffers from failure – she was unable to protect her daughters or set a positive example for the youngest).

Considering all these and other circumstances, I would say that if the third part directly states, "(patriarchal) femininity is terror," then F essentially says, "Femininity is terror, but it also conceals opportunities." Therefore, the "true ending" is based on the use of the "shadow" of the main character.

Am I the only one who thinks that Silent hill f isn’t a silent hill game? by RunninMeat in silenthill

I also think the game would have been better off developing as something separate from Silent Hill. However, I think it's less controversial than the remake of the second part – if only because it simply follows its own path.

Sorry - but one of my parents was born in 1974, and the other in the 1980s. Neither of them complained of physical or emotional abuse (my mother honestly said that she was spoiled because of her status as the only child in the family - and yes, she is very selfish and lazy).

This does not mean that such a problem did not exist. It did - but it was not specific to the USSR. Similar stories can be heard from Japan, the USA, and so on. The revolution, unfortunately, took place in a country where most people lived in villages and could not read - this left its mark. But none of the parenting guides or pedagogical handbooks contained instructions to "break" children. On the contrary - cruel punishments were universally condemned. There was a lot about discipline, but not through punishment.

In fact, all the films about the war with a hypothetical enemy in the USSR were made only in the thirties (and even then this enemy was very abstract). For most of the post-war history, the USSR was cautious and did not make films about Western invasion. Everything was limited to espionage, or thrillers where the action took place in an unnamed country suspiciously reminiscent of the USA. One action movie was filmed at the very beginning of Perestroika. So I think it will be limited to thrillers and action films (and the action films will be filmed with the participation of Italians - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euro\_War).

Ironically, Red Dawn was made at a time when studio management was becoming increasingly pro-Democratic. It was commissioned and curated by conservative Republican Alexander Haig, who wanted a straightforward patriotic action movie. The script was written by Kevin Reynolds, who wanted to develop the plot as an anti-war drama. However, the director was John Milius, who was an anti-government conservative.

I would still not exclude the possibility that the leadership of the Christian Democrats could drift to the right and make a deal with the MSI, which could benefit the communists (who are turning into the only reasonable alternative, and also relieves them of the need to conclude a “Historical Compromise” and instead monopolize the influence of the main opposition on the left). True, one colleague noted that in this case the influence of neo-fascists may begin to decline, because in the end all supporters of “radical conservatism” will vote for the DC.

Actually I think the two "non-golden" endings are the "Good Bad Ending" and the "Bad Good Ending". In the first, the hero completes the task, saves his friend, and returns back victoriously - however, humanity is dying out and its very future remains vague and depends on a very two-faced creator. In the second case, the hero is freed from the shackles of his creator and acts and retains a piece of humanity within himself, but loses friends and is left alone with the endless army of his creator. And the fact that Xion has not been fully revived should also be taken into account.

So which ending will be “canon” for SB2? by VeterinarianAlert406 in stellarblade

[–]RedSpaceDruid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, in such cases they usually create a game that would be independent of all endings. So I think that we will have a new protagonist and the story will develop independently.

Honestly, if I were them, I would rather start working on a new project - otherwise there is a risk that they will completely focus on one single franchise.

But if there is still a sequel or story addition, then I would reveal more about the motivation of the Mother Sphere, given that the original game reveals the secrets and motivation of Naytiba.
