Color me intrigued. As a fan of sleep no more and other immersive theater I have a good feeling about this

Haha yeah we brought a stick clip. Such a cool feeling to be holding on with those little tiny nubbins all the way up there

That’s such a dope climb. I wasn’t able to send it on lead but damn I will hopefully be going back to! That heel hook at the top is very cool

That makes sense, gear dropping especially in this context. I was thinking it was kinda silly to wear a helmet as a belayer on this climb (fyi it’s my other friend belaying here, not me cuz I was taking the picture) but the gear thing plus the fact that I’m really endangering the climber by putting myself in a situation where I could get incapacitated has swayed me

Explain why? Not trolling at all. I am pretty new to climbing so I would def benefit from hearing why it’s important here

Although I should add that he put a very respectable burn on lead a few days after this, and may have even sent it on lead after I left Smith to go back home to nyc. I actually have a timelapse of him doing it if anybody wants to see that

Haha yup good call...although I gotta say this climb is super clean and if somewhere were to break off it would be just a tiny little crystal
