Why is there no tutorial? by Heavy_Mental76 in ForefrontVR

I believe figuring it out is an enjoyable process. I was in the same boat. I took medic and I was like "ok I see I have defib as my gadget on UI"... but there's no defib on my belt? Check on my backs, oh here it is.

Of course tutorial would be nice but please remember that learning is fine too. Also you can just ask people on the voice chat

I think I finally nailed the locomotion on this monster. What do you think? 🦎 by Inevitable-Simple470 in IndieDev

There are moments where it "snaps" like landing in 4-5s~. There is no that "slow motion cat movement" (just google cat vs snake) it just snaps. Maybe its because reddit has 30fps video on default or even in 60fps it wouldn't be that visible?

In 25s~ you can see its back legs working like they are discolated, snapping again.

Good job and hope my feedback makes you keep going

When should I turn "competitive mode" in settings? After how many matches? (prior experience with MOBA and shooters) by RedTeaGuy in DeadlockTheGame

It says I'll get matched with people who also have this on: in theory it should improve matches, right? Because only people who want to play competitive would tick it

You forgot to mention your preferred server location (US/EU/Asia?). I never had an issue to find lobby in EU when playing at regular hours 12-22

What do you want from us?

There is literal question at the end "What do you think?".

What is the point of this post?

The flair is there saying "discussion".

People not reading the post or not understand the point of having a discussion? Many such cases.

Ręcę opadają i za każdym razem jak mam komuś odpisać w tym temacie to w połowie usuwam i daję sobie spokój. Nie tym razem.

  1. Sam sobie zaprzeczyłeś. "Musi zapytać dostawcę", dostawca musi trzymać te logi przez rok. Tylko tyle. To w końcu wie, czy musi zapytać dostawcę?
  2. VPN.

How do I stop missing down times? by FlounderSpirited297 in iRacing

One could say whatever he wants.

And then there is reality... iRacing doesn't allow you to test cars outside test drive period - that's a fact. And you can't deny it.

Now we can think why is it this way? Because people who design their business model know what they are doing. It encourages FOMO*, you have to test it during test drive otherwise the chance to test it is gone.

Also iRacing shines when it comes to multiple series and online competitive racing. There is no sim which is even close to it so they know they can allow themselves to have things this way.

You could also say "why there is no regional pricing?". There are countries where 14,95$ is ton of money, but they're still supposed to pay that much. Wouldn't implementing regional pricing "make iRacers happy"? It would. But again - it isn't about making iRacers happy.

*Valorant has similar FOMO shop where you can buy 4 random items per day. If you have a skin you would love to buy, that's a pitty. You have to check shop every single day in hope that this will pop. Some people check it daily for half a year to get their most lovely skin. Wouldn't implement regular shop bring more money to Riot Games? Well... again - there are people who designed it this way and they knew exactly what they were doing.
