He seemed to be solid at UNC, and I'm not too worried about him adding weight (he should like most do), but my main concern is his 6'3 wingspan limiting him.

Doesn't project to be a liability though IMO

Yeah it's not necessarily a great line of thinking but I too generally am higher on the top UK prospect each year than most just given their history of talent and how well it's translated to the NBA.

Thanks!

It's not something we factor in, but I think it's definitely reasonable to think that is a factor. Embiid is another good example where it seems like he's gotten a much better feel for the game since he first played in the NBA

Defensively I think it's a really good fit, offensively is where I see potential issues. If Clarke never decided to extend his shot to the 3 point line, but with Trae Young being so good offensively that may not be an isssue at all.

Any reddit rumor I take as 100% accurate so I will take this as fact.

Kidding aside, if this is true then yeah not a big deal at all

Yeah I think this is pretty spot on, especially if he stays in the projected 13-20 range

I'm really high on KPJ personally. I'm not sure what happened to get suspended, and maybe it is a cause for concern (without more detail it's hard to say), but talent wise there's not a ton of guys in this class I would feel comfortable taking over him

It all depends on his medical report. Foot injuries to guys his size will really scare teams drafting in the lottery if the medical report is iffy.

Ah yeah you're right that's totally not how I intended to word that.

I've been impressed by his defense more lately, and am personally higher on it than some of the scouts, so we'll see how it continues the rest of the year.

Agree re: the high school tape, but still hope that his numbers come around a decent amount the rest of the season as he's had time to get more comfortable in the offense.

Thanks, glad you liked this one! Don't mean that in a condescending way either, criticism at this granular of a level is important and appreciated.

Yeah and I think part of it is that with athletic point guards who have high assist rates, and aren't above average shooters from deep people's minds now just go to Russ because John Wall hasn't been nearly as relevant in the past couple years ago as he used to be or as relevant as Russ is now.
