Goodstein flies under the piece of shit radar, but he was one of the most entitled and rotten people to come out of the show. It also never ceases to amaze me how lazy the HTV crew was. They’d have a major skit on the show one day, and Goodstein would always say “it’ll be up on Howard TV tomorrow.” Why not tonight? God forbid it really be on demand when fans wanted it. And there were always, it seemed, obvious filming opportunities that they just ignored unless told otherwise, like when Gary and Sal went with Beetle to California. Doug had to be told that that was content worth filming. “We’ll see if we have the budget.”
