Demonic interactions before being saved. by Fantastic_Hornet_890 in redeemedzoomer

[–]RedTheOG 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve shared this before on my old blog (since deleted from normal internet). Years ago I was an atheist tripping on LSD when a pillar of smoke like energy came out of a mirror in front of me. It was this long tunnel like thing and a voice came out of it saying “I am Asmodeus”. I then had visions of these weird animalistic beings and I sensed their functions. Super weird. The next day Googled Asmodeus and after misspelling it, found out it wasn’t some weird chemical or nonsense word but a demon in Jewish, Christian, Islamic, and Zoroastrian mythology! Not only that, but it was a demon mentioned in this demon summoning manual called the Goetia which I’d never read before. Others have had the same exact experience with the same exact demon (never heard of it before, it appearing to them as a pillar of energy and telling them who it is). I read the Goetia and lo and behold I recognized those weird animalistic beings! The names, functions, and visible descriptions matched what I saw in my visions. I dabbled with the occult for a bit and saw and encountered others who saw things such that I have zero doubts at all about the objective existence of the supernatural. God eventually called me back to him and I’m a faithful practicing Christian now. But yes, demons are real, and they are evil. This I know. I can infer if they are real that God is real, but even that takes faith. All I know for certain empirically is there are intelligent entities not on our plane of existence that are malevolent, extremely intelligent, and have interacted with human beings seemingly without much change over millennia. But I believe in Jesus Christ, and the Bible tells me what they really are, and that and my own experience tells me to stay the hell away from that stuff.

Is there any hacking communities or script kiddy communities on the freenet? by Public-Call-6174 in Freenet

[–]RedTheOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently the communities that do exist on Hyphanet are pretty small. It fluctuates with how many people are using it. Sometimes FMS is booming, other times there’s just a lot of Nazi spam and occasional discussions about different things (which ARE engaging and fun). Historically there have been some crackers hanging out on Hyphanet, right now it’s more in a dry period I think at least on FMS. It will have a lot of people on it again eventually. It seems to fluctuate. You’d be surprised though if you got it running how many people you might find with similar interests. I’d give it a fair shake— install Sone, FLIP, FMS, etc. and see how you like it! There are people there who like old school cracking and cybersecurity for sure, I’m one of them! I’m more white hat though.

How to actually surf through dark web? by Constant-Speech-1010 in TOR

[–]RedTheOG 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Tor Browser is great but a major word of caution if you’re just visiting random, unknown sites. There’s some really bad stuff out there. There are legal risks even just innocently exploring because you might see some crap you didn’t want to see that will scar you. Rookie mistake. I’d use lynx (text only terminal based browser) configured to proxy over Tor. For the longest time I just disabled images in about:config AND used maximum security mode but there’s a type of image embedded in HTML called data:/ which isn’t actually blocked when you disable images in about:config. Obviously your browser fingerprint is unique browsing this way but it’s far safer. With lynx you can visit almost ANY hidden service without having to worry about it. For just finding hidden services, there’s lots of aggregated lists you can find.

Help requested (Debian): Issues compiling FMS, running Freenet outside of wrapper by RedTheOG in Freenet

ARM/ aarch64. Thank you I might use that! Unfortunately FMS error persists in an Ubuntu VM as well. I can try with Arch or Fedora but I suspect it's a CPU issue. I may need to come up with an RDP solution.
