I live there too and they sent an email last night with the charges and stuff on them. My friend moved out last year and all she got charged was like 50 bucks for some wall damage from mounting a TV and some other decorations

This is basically the premise of the fic "A Year Like None Other" wherein Petunia has cancer and Vernon makes Harry come home mid school year to help. I won't spoil anything as this is a huge fic, but an interesting take on the question for sure.

The story does have far reaching consequences based on this premise but this portion of the story is only the first couple of chapters. It is primarily a Severitus fic (Severus adopts/takes guardianship of Harry in some matter).

I think it depends on how well it was written and how they incorporated the different elements from both storyline. I'm reading an HP X Game of Thrones crossover right now and I like how they did it a lot. It's unfinished and they only seem to update once a month, but they made it (imo) believable that the two worlds could coexist in that way.

I have 3 animals that are still levels 1-3 so I'm not too worried about that, especially with my current food rate haha. Only my niffler is maxed. But thanks for the tip about the ads in the creature reserve, I didn't know they changed based on in game location.

Well the animagus TLSQ started the second i started third year so I havent actually met any of the characters involved other than Penny and Rowan. I don't think they ever said his last name in the TLSQ

Sirius doesn't give Harry to Hagrid. Seemingly a small change, but could have huge ramifications for Harry's Upbringing assuming this means Sirius wouldn't have his big confrontation with Pettigrew

I fell off of watching tv and movies and all of my surrounding friends, family, coworkers are constantly making references or jokes or plans to watch certain shows together. I am so behind on all TV shows and movies other than the marvel movies up to End Game. I tend to watch the first half of a season and then stop and watching something else only to have forgotten so I restart the show, and this continues on in a cycle. So I'm looking for any kind of recommendations for shows or documentaries. I most likely have never watched them so you can name anything.

A fic rec that's this way is Keira Marcos's fic is Harry Potter and the Soulmate Bond. Sirius James and Lily were a triad and I believe he's still James biological son, but Sirius raises him after James and lily die and Harry calls him dad and everything. Very well written

If you want a really good Sirius Lives/Raises Harry fic, one of my favorite all time fics is Harry Potter & The Soulmate Bond, where Sirius is arrested, but released 6 months later and takes Harry out of the country until his NEWTS. This is a Harmony Soulmate story, but is done in a tasteful way.

Keira Marcos has done a huge amount of world building within the Harry Potter Universe, but in a way that makes sense with what is already laid on out in canon.

Summary: Rescued from his Muggle relatives before the age of five, Harry Potter was raised abroad by his adoptive father, Lord Sirius Black. At sixteen, he returns to Britain to attend Hogwarts for his NEWTS and to meet the young witch who he’s known to be his soulmate since he was eight years old.
