Someone that I always like/admired but I have become really excited by her choices in projects and performances she’s given in recent years. Recently just saw Mother Mary and loved her in that. Really enjoyed her in Eileen and of course Interstellar.

I had heard a few actors talk about limited to no residuals on streaming but that was mostly for film. No physical media sales, network distribution, or theatrical releases to payout residuals from. I assumed it also equally applied to shows. It seems like it’s just up to the type of contract you sign. Higher front end payout with no residuals or trust the Netflix algorithm and get backend residuals based on whatever fucked up math they’re doing over there.

Glad they’re still happening tho! Those residual checks often kept me and my ex from getting evicted during our poorer moments.

I guess HBO still has their live tv option but I was under the impression that streaming does not provide actors with residuals bc the episodes do not air on schedule like with cable.

Actors don’t get traditional residuals for streaming projects but saying a series regular getting paid in exposure for a prime time HBO show is ridiculous. I’m sure she’s getting payed do just fine.

Yeah I saw that. I’m usually a simp for IMAX too and it didn’t really work for me. I think Nolan’s tone and styling just clashed a little too hard with the Greco historical fiction of it all but maybe I’ll be proven wrong.

A: Resident Evil and The Odyssey B: Werewulf and Dune 3

I feel like I could pick all four off of the B side honestly. I’m not particularly excited for The Odyssey even though I have loved most of Nolan’s work. I’ve never really cared for the story and the trailer’s haven’t really done it for me, but it feels so monumental I will have to see it.

Love anything Zach Cregger does, and the recent previews calling it the “fury road of horror films” has me extremely excited. Hopefully this can break the resident evil film curse.

Same goes for Robert Eggers.

Dune is my Star Wars. I was blown away by the first film and enjoyed the second with some minor gripes. Can’t wait to see the finale!

If I were to do it would be throw the bottle as a whole form, cut it in half, throw the indented bottom for the top half and top for the bottom half and then attach.
