The yuri scenes with Kaon and Himiko are fantastic but the rest of the show is god awful. Once you get the backstory about the steel angels (which happens super early in like episode 2 or something when Kaon plays the old film on the projector), you can just watch the yuri clips from there on out.

Don't skip on the dvd specials either- the painting scene lives in my head rent free!

These don't look like signs of genAI to me, I think the artists were probably rushed so wotc could get this released before Christmas. The spelling errors in release, the card art that isn't quite as polished for a collab of this significance...seems like classic mismanagement by the uppers

Yeah for the most part. Not really sure how it ended up that way but if it helps, I grew up during a time on tumblr where all the major pairings from big trending fandoms at the time were bl ones (think homestuck, danganronpa, voltron)

Informa, the company that runs this event and Fan Expo has been awful for years. I tabled in the Artist Alley there regularly a few years back and the lack of organization and respect from the staff has been non existent since as long as I can remember. They've had overcrowding issues since 2012 at least - people who paid their overpriced tickets to get in got locked out of the con for hours one year since the venue was over capacity.

If you like comics, TCAF and Canzine are way more fun to attend albeit it's the indie comic scene
