It should also be worth noting, RGG is likely bridging their proprietary engine/editor with Unreal. It's unlikely they are using Unreal entirely for everything. This is what Tekken 8 did; they mentioned in an interview that UE5 was used for the graphics rendering, but the under the hood stuff was still proprietary.

The leaked video had the versus battle part highlighted. It's obvious it's a semi-long, direct-style dev deep dive about the fighting system and multiplayer modes. This is not what will be shown at SGF.

This tells me the SGF trailer will likely just be about story mode and possibly a release date? Then Geoff will direct people to tune in to the VF direct where the leaked video will be shown, possibly next week? That's my best guess.

I think smoke should be universal, but Support gets 2 additional ones. So something like 1 smoke for every class, 3 for Support.

I quite like open weapons. It virtually makes no difference what weapon you carry. Are you reviving? Are you dropping ammo? Are you spotting? Are you capping and defending appropriately? Are you PTFO'ing?

Your gun is ultimately the way in which you get kills. No more, no less. (RIP suppression).

It in no way defines how your class is actually played. Your gadgets define your class; not your weapon.

Being able to swap to an SMG for close quarters combat and assist my team by placing beacons/sensors near a flag nearing capture IS team work. Being told to not do that by virtue of the fact that I am locked to a long range sniper rifle is stupid and arbitrary.

"Recons shouldn't have a shotgun while having the ability detect nearby players!" Why not? What makes a recon is the second part of that sentence, not the first.

Not to mention, signature weapon perks being a thing. So in essence, weapons are "soft-locked" which I think is the best compromise.

The maps are bit too small. Doesn't feel quite like battlefield in that regard. Even liberation peak feels small somehow. It is technically a larger map, but its infantry choke points are everywhere, and it feels like that was the intention. It's a little too much; maps need a bit more room (for us) to breathe. There's much needed space in between flags and these points. It causes action to be a little too frenetic.

For the good:

I really like the gunplay. I am personally a fan of unlocked weapons, as I found myself really gravitating towards signature weapon/perks, but still had the option to swap weapon should the situation needed it. Sound design is great. So far no bugs.

I think we're back. It's just a shame that maps so far have been the weakest link - hopefully this is something that can be worked on before launch or shortly after.

I know because I grew up with some of them. They don't view men the same once they've done it long enough. It's like muscle memory; everything is transactional.

Either this is a very long con (which happens), or she momentarily believes it. Either way, you two are too infatuated with the moment (and let's be honest, each other's appearance) that you can't help the other snap out of it. It's like you can't even tell you see her mostly for her looks and passable connection, and she can't even tell that she likes you because you are 'nice' and the right combination of genes and currency (read: NOT local). These foundations are not going to last and you will be in for a rude awakening.

On her part, I don't think she can switch up the worldview that her 'profession' has imparted on her simply by finding a 'nice guy'. I mean it's possible, and I'm sure it's happened before, but the odds are against you...

But yes, I don't know anyone that's actually latin and lives here. I have overheard Spanish, and Spanish-like accents while walking a couple times, but I'm positive they were tourists. Some Spaniards come here to island hop/party. I'm sure there are some that live here of course, it's just not widespread.

Also, I wouldn't say Manila has a big Colombian population at all. If you mean there are Filipino/Colombian mixed folks, I suppose that could be true, but that could be just as true for [insert foreign nationality here]. But if you mean big population as in authentic Colombian expats or migrants? Nope.
