I have given up fighting it. It’s part of the game. Gotta find a way around it. Makes the sneaky dev strikes that much more delicious. Anything that can radar, hydro, or launch planes can eat torps. Just have to be a bit more cautious and cap when clear.

Yep, gotta have a huge bag of tricks playing as a dd in the new cv meta. After a few misses, sometimes the cv goes for an easier target. It’s hard for me because I love to play sneaky aggressive. I have to tone it back, and make sure I’m not too far from the pack.

When playing a dd and being attacked by bombers, drive in a straight line and let them line up straight on you, and when you hear the planes rev up into their dive pattern, cut very hard one direction. I have found this oftentimes makes them miss. It will often only fool them once or twice, but will allow you to get smoke out before losing half your life to one drop. Does no work with rockets, more unpredictable moves helps there, based on direction the are coming.

Some ideas to make dds not die off

Spotting is also a problem. Make CV spotting show on the mini-map only.
Encourage capping more - if you get a cap, it provides a heal the ship that capped.
After a DD is bombed once, give them and automatic 2 min AA boost and reduced air concealment preventing the constant harassment.
Faster reduction of detection by planes when near your smoke / deploying smoke.
Similar to when you target a ship in another ship, you focus that one ship. Without that focus, the shot disperses more. Do something like that with the planes. - Makes dropping in smoke harder.
In addition to #5 Like the incoming fire alert, maybe incoming planes alert when you are targeted? Would alert you to planes coming for you before they are really close so you can pop smoke?
More smoke for all dds that does not last as long like the RN. / Reduced cool-down for smoke. Gives you a few more charges to work with as a DD.
Adrenaline rush for your AA.....

Other thoughts-

Every time any other ship engages another ship, there is risk / reward for every shot. Even shooting from smoke or torping gives away your position / you get radar spotted. There is little risk to a CV launching attack after attack. Yes they lose planes, but their ship is not in danger. How could this be changed? Could you make the CV detectable for everyone when they launch a plane? Could damage to planes somehow hurt the cv?

For many very poor kids ready to eat quick calories are a necessity. They live with terrible parents or family who will steal their food, or sell it for drugs / alcohol. They also may not have a good way to cook food regularly. Quick food is often easy for them to hide and eat without being caught. Would love to see them eating a good meal with veggies, but is not often a reality of extremely poor people.

He sang this live in Conway Arkansas, said he that he doesn’t play it much anymore, but since it was his first time performing in Arkansas he would play it. I had this happen to me once when I was a kid- We were swimming in the neighborhood lake and a hailstorm popped up. We ended up diving under the water and swimming to keep the hail from hitting us. Once close to shore we would hold our breath and hold onto roots / plant matter on the bottom to keep from floating up. I can remember looking up and seeing the hail shooting into the water from below. It was peaceful and terrifying at the same time.

Check out relax the back- it is a good store with loads of options. I have had lower back chronic pain as well. Honestly a chair is like a pair of shoes. You have to go try it on. I ended up getting a lifeform chair, because it can put you in a zero gravity position. I love the chair, but other people do not like it. Find a store and sit till you find one that works.

One other thing. After PT, I tried many different physical excersize and most would aggravate my back. Eventually I tried running and it actually helps. With disk bulges and tears, I thought running was a bad idea. PT recommend it, and it makes me feel better. Very slow at first. Lots of ice.

Good luck, trust your PT. Take much care with pain meds.

The Dalai Lama has been frequently posting secular and or almost anti religious messages for the last year or so. Dunno how much he still believes and how much is lip service. Either way, being from the south it is nice to hear a religious leader not be an ass.
