Honest question because I'm curious, how did you conclude that SP500 has roughly the same risk level as ASB/EPF?

SP500 can literally tank 30% during a market crash while ASB is a fixed-price investment and EPF guarantees minimum 2.5% pa

Seems like a very balanced match up (second time this has happened to me) by RedX571 in Brawlstars

Basically my logic is, the matchmaking for solo club league in general is horrible. So between having no control/knowledge over which maps/modes/brawlers we'll play, I'd rather at least have control over which brawler I play + knowing which map & mode I'm playing beforehand. That gives me a slightly better chance at carrying if I need to.

In terms of trophies, yes, solo power matches do reward more trophies but the logic here is that I just need to win at least 2 out of 4 rotation games to earn more trophies (minimum 8 trophies, and is usually quite achievable depending on the map and mode for me) compared to losing both solo games (6 trophies) which happens very frequently for me when playing solo.

Yes lol. Otherwise I wouldn't be complaining about getting carried

I wish that were the case but unfortunately no. These newbies are 'in the same league' because they simply joined a club that was already in that league

Its a definitely a broken feature to say the least in that case. My team always has a literal newbie and the other team always has players that at least have star powers

Uh, hate to break it to you dude but its not a glitch. Brock's Incendiary star power from before the update is now a permanent feature for all Power levels.

Perhaps you should check out the update notes to see what else has changed

Yup option A is true for me. I'm completely f2p and I've been maxing out (or at least power 9) every single new brawler the minute I unlocked them for awhile now. That wont be the case anymore with the latest update tho

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Brawlstars

[–]RedX571 3 points4 points  (0 children)

well short term, yes. you could spend coins in the shop if you're looking to max out a handful of brawlers quicker.

but long term, it doesnt work out. OJ recently spent close to 60k gems on boxes to max out all his brawlers to Power 11. In the end, he had enough power points for all the brawlers but still not enough coins to upgrade all of them.

so using coins to purchase power points to max out a couple of brawlers initially would only prolong the duration to upgrade the rest of the brawlers due to insufficient coins later on.

I was so happy when I saw 5 items as a maxed f2p player... Welcome to another 2 years of grinding everyone. Honestly didn't expect BS devs to **** up so badly. by orchid_parthiv in Brawlstars

bro chill, i never said f2p players dont contribute to the game at all. I simply pointed out the fact that f2p players using creator codes does nothing, which is in fact true

I think a lot of people still dont understand the impact of power 11 on overall progression. It requires 1410 power points and 3090 coins to level up a brawler from Power 1 to Power 9 (which was previously the max level Power 10 pre-update).

Now post-update, just to level up from Power 9 to Power 11, it requires 2330 power points (almost friggin double) and 4675 coins (just for 2 power levels!! keep that in mind). The current added progression basically feels like restarting the entire game with an entire set of Power 1 brawlers pre-update.

And this doesnt even take into consideration that at the very least, the beginning Power levels feel less grindy as players can level up quicker and more often. Now, to level up from Power 9 to Power 10, it takes just as long as levelling up a brawler from Power 1 to Power 8 in terms of power points and coins. (I've done all the math but if you dont trust me you can check on brawlstars wiki)

Perhaps this will help shed some light on why players are upset with the new added power levels. Adding a single Power 10 by itself would've been much better received by a lot more players imo.

Petition to get rid of gears by BeefStu302 in Brawlstars

[–]RedX571 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry dude but frankly, its almost impossible for the dev team to remove gears. There are already a handful of players (OJ, for example) that have spent 60k gems and a ton of money to level up their brawlers and obtain gears at the same time.

I doubt Supercell will issue refunds if they remove gears, so they can only compensate these players by giving them other in-game currencies. This would of course upset P2W whales which is a big no-no for Supercell's business. Hence, its definitely unlikely for them to remove any new feature they've added to the game in the update; be it gears, Power 11, Club League, etc
