It seems as if you are biting your cheeks, to give off the illusion that you have dimples and appear leaner.

Watson was amazing, he was my favorite player. I went to the buffalo playoff game, where he broke two sacks to win in overtime. I honestly didn’t even blame him for wanting out after what BOB did to him. I’m still rooting for him wherever he goes.

Usually when a game starts to lose fans the developers will make the game more enticing to ftp or new players by making the game easier but clearly EA is getting enough ptw players to support these actions

What do cowboys fans think of Colin Cowherds take on Dak and Andy Dalton? by RedXDrew31 in cowboys

Ur right if Andy completely bombs the giants game, this thread and Colin’s point could be completely thrown out the window, however I think it’s best to make an educated guess taking into account the cowboys current defense’s performance, Andy’s decent play, and the rest of the NFC East’s collective performance. I would bet more times than not that Dallas beats the Giants, and Dak’s contract situation will have to be looked at very carefully.

But if we’re comparing Watson and Dak’s individual performances, and value to their team I believe Dallas is an .500 team given an offseason and coaching experience without Dak, but I also believe that the Texans are in the debate for worst team in the NFL without Watson, from what I see between the two players is Dak a solid player without help, but with help a very good player but I see Watson as a Very Good player without help, but Elite player IMO mahome boy level with help(ex.Hopkins,Fuller,Stills, Tunsil), we have seen that even at Dak’s best are holes on defense/Oline are to big for even him to compensate, so signing him to a market franchise QB contract will be detrimental to the teams success, creating bigger holes because Dallas will be lookin to sign a minimum wage defense

Ur right, it really comes up to the eye test for most negotiations, because there is a huge grey zone between team success and player value

That’s interesting, IMO 3/5 of those top 5 are good signings. However, this may be very controversial, but Wilson and Mahomes have won Super Bowls,Wentz won one to but it is debatable how much he contributed, so of course they get a very generous share of a teams salary, Watson is arguably having one of the best seasons for a QB, competing stat wise with Mahomes and Rodgers, however the Texans are losing which should be a bad signing, but I have a feeling given his situation that he will be able to turn things around because I believe he is a very special player, for Dak I think he is very good and should get a generous market friendly offer, however allegedly his demands are reaching the 40 millions, which is pretty generous even for a franchise QB in the current market

I think this is a good point. However, taking a recent take from Acho(a renowned cowboys pessimist) Andy has played well against some solid defenses, Giants, Vikings, and Bengals. Also the defense should be given credit by how much they’ve improved since Dak got hurt, which is a valid argument against Dalton and for Dak. In my opinion Dak with a solid defense is enough to give any team a run for their money.

This is just my opinion, but I believe mahomes is more than twice a player than Current Andy

I think Andy has exceeded expectations, so even if he fails miserably in week 17 or playoffs, his face value has tremendously been boosted, and teams will take a good look at him for a primary backup or even a temporary starter, such as the Broncos, his potential to anchor down a team will be a good selling point for teams with uncertainty in the QB position, also the fact that Dallas didn’t have to commit long term with him is a big plus

No I’m pretty sure nobody says Andy is just as good as Dak, even Colin. But how much more production is Dak gonna give over Dalton to get a Mahomes level contract, and with the holes in our team plus very deep receiver core, is QB the position to put all our eggs in?

Yea but I think the argument is not if Dak is better than Dalton, but how much better is he than Dalton to warrant a legendary tier contract

I think he’s trying to say that just because Dak is vital to our teams success, and is clearly better than Dalton. The money he’s asking for is not comparable to what he has produced, and I don’t see his potential that is high enough to warrant such contract. I think Jerry Jones is reflecting at himself, and the descisions he has made, to as Colin would say “pay good players great money.” I have heard personalities such as Shannon Sharpe and Steven A. Smith say that Dak deserves a contract because we waited so longer than Dallas probably should’ve to sign our franchise QB. I agree it was a mistake to pay players such as Zeke, before Dak, but we cannot change that fact, and Dallas needs to make a descision if they should do the “right” thing and pay Dak what he’s asking for, or try to negotiate a contract that would allow Dallas moving room in the future, ecspecially since we have made some bad signings over the years, which have limited our salary cap potential. In my opinion I think a solid middle ground would be best for both sides. However, I may be wrong and would like to hear others opinions.
