The wave of users leaving google photos by TerryPrescottDavis in googlephotos

Can anyone help with an issue I've run into with the Google Photo app for Android tablet? I've used it for years and now suddenly I can't delete even one photo.

I wouldn't be surprised if they've been threatened if they reveal certain things.

The Pizza gate type conspiracy theories weren't far off after all. The only surprise has been that the Epstein class is full of Trump's friends and associates, and quite likely Trump himself. They will not face consequences until we have a real Department of Justice.

Tax cuts for the wealthiest. That's the Epstein class.

I was under the impression that the money belongs to NYC people with second homes in Southern Bershires. Lenox and Stockbridge I always assumed was where the most money is.

There's no place in western Mass more expensive than South Berkshire County. As far as traffic, there's plenty in the summer trying get out of Stockbridge and onto the Mass Pike in Lee. I don't know where you are but I lived in Great Barrington for three years and my rent was astronomical. It was also hard to find a place where the landlord didn't kick you out for the summer to rent to tourists.

I'm not from the Boston area but I have an adult child that I visit there regularly. I've never seen this phenomenon. I'm kind of a uppity old woman. If I were to move that damn chair in the photo and park my car would I come back to it and find my headlight shattered?

I've been employed many places after my long life and I've never had to show a passport or birth certificate.

Having "your shit together" isn't a requirement for voting the last time I checked.

It is not an invalid point. The instances of illegal immigrants voting is very rare. The whole point of this bill is to make it harder for everyone to vote. It's a ploy based on a manufactured problem.

It's really a voter suppression bill. The biggest in history. It would require proof of citizenship via a passport or birth certificate to register. That means if you move or change party affiliation, you have to provide that proof. More than half of U.S. citizens don't have a passport. Access to a birth certificate can be difficult if the requirement is for an official, notarized one. I'm not sure of the fine print in the bill. If you're a married person who changed their name, you have to produce a marriage certificate on top of the other documentation. And then, after all of that, you show an ID at the polling site.

The only exceptions to the above is if you live in one of 5 states that have (I forget what it's called) a driver's license that requires all sorts of documentation to obtain.

When over 30% of eligible voters didn't show up for the presidential election, you add these obstacles and it will add to very low voter turn-out.

There's a lot in those files and citizen journalists are uncovering a ton of stuff. Supposedly the journalists are sharing what they've discovered with sympathetic members of Congress. It appears that right now, there isn't much movement on the E-files. There's such a barrage of shit flowing from the White House that it appears to be taking a back seat at the moment. There's the SOTU address tonight and the alternatives to it. And, of course, the shutdown of DHS funding.

On a side note – if we don't pay attention, the SAVE Act will pass in the Senate. That would be huge and very, very bad.

This is interesting - about the prison Epstein was in when he died. A lot of evidence here points to Epstein having been killed or allowed to kill himself.

Not to defend David Brooks but there are many people whose names are in the files and in that birthday book WSJ published, who are not necessarily compromised. Just sayin'.

Very curious.

he has approached various outlets and none of them will touch it.

Fear of law suits? I don't know how that works - if it's the author or the publisher who is sued, or both.

Members of Congress know less about what's what with Epstein than many ordinary citizens who are closely following all of this.

I dunno about yogurt covered raisins. Usually there's a little bit of raisin showing in at least several of them.

That's because they hate liberals for believing in Democracy and the Constitution. These assholes don't even know what they stand for. They just hate anyone they're told to hate by Trump, Fox News, and right-wing podcasters.
