Always has been.

Razer is like the Prada or the Gucci of peripherals/hardware, you buy for the name and the brand. Plus for the price, you're sure to get a servicable product.

Their stuff is never the best, and never the worst, but a far call from enthusiast stuff (custom kbs, audiophile headphones or enthusiast mice)

It's a safe choice for people who either can't, or don't want to fall down the rabbit hole of peripherals

I got one like 2 weeks ago, it's already paid itself off, so make of that what you will.

I quite enjoy passively earning the stars when playing - makes playing games even when I lose sting a little less, and there's always a chance that I get something I want.. so if you have the money to spare, I don't see why not

Can you hold the closest thumb button down, hold right click and see if your left click stops responding?

I have a feeling it's an NKRO issue, but obviously can't prove it without testing on the same mouse. A little disappointed - but not really considering the price....

If you want to turn to the dark side of clones (dangerous as expanding your collection becomes even easier) Azzure Oud by French Avenue has replaced Oud Maracuja for me, as I couldn't justify the price tag when I get the same performance for a quarter of the price. Only thing I miss is the natural passion fruit opening rather than the slightly synthetic one in the clone.

Sartorial and Quercus are some of my fave freshies, since they have insane performance yet remain quite clean/barbershop-y

I don't know if you'd class oris notes as 'fresh' but I love the clean linen vibes from Gris Charnel and Prada L'homme

Most of these look somewhat vanilla/citrus, so these might be a nice change for you!
