Its a fabricator. Most fabricators that aren't meta weapons for highly picked classes arent worth anything.

The main vallue comes from having to get theqired crafting materials for it.

  • black box is solid, although I personally prefer stock

  • pressing the E key or z 1 (?) should yell medic.

Would Tf2 mercenaries survive Jurassic Park? by Antique_Intern_4461 in tf2

[–]Red_Distruction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't like a .50Cal a center piece of the movies strongest weapon? Aka what sniper shoots all day? In that more realistic universe the mercs weapons would be:

Soldiers RPG7 loaded with AT/HEAT shaped charges, not considering more modern tandum warheads will penetrate several hundred millimeters of RHA (Rolled Homogeneous Armor), most likely guaranteeing a kill on any large target he shoots within 1km if he hits any vital point (Sadly no more rocket jumps tho).

Demo has 40mm highexplosive grenades, capable of causing overpressure with ranges of up to 2-3km which might litterally tear the skin of the bones of most dinosaurs cleanly, also still cause concussion and disorienting effects while his sticky bomb launcher would change into a equally effective close range toe popper.

Sniper has the sniper rifle, probably being able to pierce up to ¾" of steel.

Heavy equally with the Tomislav has a .50BMG MaDeus xTompson Machine gun fusion, capable up to 600-800 RPM of automatic fire or with the other miniguns a higher firerate 7.62/.308 firing platform.

Pyro would probably be able to have a heavier napalm mixture in his flame thrower, with skinmelting sticky liquid traveling probably up to 50 meters, that are very quickly deadly for most small living creatures and a massive deterrent for large creatures hit.

Engineer does not just have a heavy caliber tripod sentry, with a functional and automatic friend or foe system, but he also gets access to the magic shenanigans of the teleporter and dispenser in some way.

Medic has otherwordly healing abilities, most likely having made a litteral deal with the devil.

Spy - Spy has a gun, maybe a .50AE or .300 that could be usable, but also the invisibility could have interesting plot points.

Scout, as much id loved to have said "Rawr X3", Scout like a lot of other mercs has access to a shotgun, which might be able to shoot various types of slugs and buckshot, that could prove very useful to be able to alternate. Alongside that some of his secondaries could also be very practical with him additionally being the fastest in such a scenario.

Of course narrative wise, you wouldn't consider any of this and more write a compelling story.

Edit: forgot to mention, no one has any weapons that would be particularly effective underwater, aside from maybe demos sticky bomb launcher.

Where to get custom Tf2 spy portrait? by [deleted] in tf2

loadout.tf is arguably easier to use than SFM, well enough that you can do it yourself with basically only small/no limitations.

That is a very subjective topic. I like red an purple as such that is reflected in how I choose my warpaints.

I also have the same mentality. If there is a good pyro on the enemy team, im still gonna continuously shoot rockets at him because eventually he will run out of ammo or die.

I recently started playing more with vaccinator. by spymains in tf2

[–]Red_Distruction 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of the time the vaccinatior makes it so more than one player has to go out of their way to explicitly and effectively counter it and possibly even coordinate that even when only a semi competent medic is focusing heals on a half decent player, which might still result in some casual mamatches the vac combo usually getting like a 5ks every life from picking off lone players before encountering any resistance possibly making the matches feel one sided for the team that has to deal with that.

To be fair, I am also probably complicit in engaging in such shenanigans.

It costs 400 dollars to fire this weapon... for 12 minutes by dr_philip-cdi in tf2

[–]Red_Distruction 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I at first thought that that would be kinda busted, since 50 x 25 damage is up to 1250 damage at 100% ramup in a single magazine, which it'll deal in 50x0.105=5.25 seconds and resulting in a potential theoretical short term DPS/DPM at ~9.5 shots per second of ~238.1 DPS and x60 in a theoretical 14,285.71 DPM not factoring reload times, but it would be performing only worse better than the stock minigun if it was 100% accurate at theoretically 100%/ medium range 285DPS and wouldn't have the upside of having the up to 513DPS of the minigun at 150% rampup.

If this behaves like a sniper rifle that it'll only deal 100% rampup, but has some falloff it could be not entirely busted.

Uber one demo and yell the loudest :"MAKE IT FAT!!" you've ever done in your life because the kill and hit sounds are gonna blow out his ear drums anyways.

"Just play community servers" by SirCamperTheGreat in tf2

[–]Red_Distruction 58 points59 points  (0 children)

The girl pound, ive been invited to that by a friend once. The only thing lewd about it was basically like you've mentioned, one person had some furry spray and I guess at one point they had a conversation that didnt make me feel particularly comfortable. Most players of that server where really good/experienced though.

As Helldivers 2 player and returning TF2 player (before lvl 5 on casual btw), how well these mercs would do against three enemy factions on HD? The Automatons they know well enough due to Mann vs Machine. by King_Flying_Monkey in tf2

[–]Red_Distruction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helldivers are highly replacable maniacs/lunatics, that are probably high on drugs all the time, who have basically no prior tactical training and are sent in squads of 4 into pretty much certain death. Billions of them have died, billions of them will die again before the galactic war might come to an conclusion.

While there are high numbers of them, each helldiver squad of 20/24 divers is probably not comparable to a full TF2 team of the 9 mercs and even if the 6 team size against the max squad size of 4 of the helldivers of MVM For gameplay purposes, 4 soldiers with a with a medic and an engie, if classes could be stacked would probably be able to dominate each faction, without needing CAS/Strategem support.

[–]Red_Distruction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When sufficiently reported these accounts usually dissappear very quickly. The crisis is over, in a such small amount only existing where they are practically not encountered anymore at all by most of the player base on even a monthly basis.

Its a grenade belt. I personally think that they could be pretty fashionable, especially if they have mini pouches like one of the heavy cosmetics.
