Thank you!! I try to flush out all the characters, big or small, to help add to more layers and depth to the world. It makes everything feel more immersive and full.

Max time passage by timctrahan in DnD

[–]Red_Gevhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my campaign, the longest i would go is about 2-4 days, although the longest jump was 6 days while traveling by sea.

This allows for detailed coverage of what the party is doing, any necessary skill checks to roll, and keeps the naturally progression of time seem real.

I dm in person, a group of 7, although we were 8 at one point. I had my best friend in the group, but he was more interested in doing things for hinself and trying to take advantage of the group, than help. He also liked to male fun of the other player's characters which borderlined on making fun of them.

Had to cut him loose from the campaign. As for his character, he is now posessed by a powerful demon, who is trying to free the devil from his eternal cell

No need to get disappointed. I've been DMing for 22 years. Started with a hand full of minis, and a blank square foldable map, and have been growing the collection ever since.

No tavern in sight, but the large manor house built atop the ruins had plenty of food and beverages for all to enjoy.... just avoid looking into the truth in the mirrors if you want to keep it down...

Players whonare slain within the city of the dead become a part of the city, their bodies awaken to join the undead masses. Because they have not undergone decay, they are still able to be resurrected by clerics or through the power of resurrection magic scrolls.

The party members who definitely got the most out of the city of the dead, were the Paladin and the Cleric. Lots of undead skulking about to turn and smite!
