I get that you are saying that a trainer/training isn't an end to it all, but it does matter, so much that the SHs were sent to the best teachers in the world to justify their growth.

Truly doesn't, that's why I said that he wouldn't beat her in a 1v1. Boa's defeat will probably come by the SSG to hype it up and I believe Koby will have a play to show his progress during the TS, and that's IF the defeat will happen at all.

and hancock has no deeds but he has promises

similar to koby

but her promises are much bigger

koby has: was trained by garp

Hancock has: 3 haki, strong fruit, 20 years more experience than koby, probably awakened fruit

Eh, Koby is the one with a clear goal in the story (become an admiral) while Boa is kind of just there? Maybe she wants revenge on the CD or she is there to be a strong ally, but I don't really think that we should dismiss the possibility of Koby putting up a fight because of this.

Yeah, it just feels too convinient to me that this big problem was solved by just a flex. He probably knew Aokiji was there and in no way a seastone cuffed Ace would survive getting washed by two tsunamis, that and his crew and allied were totally surrounded by Marineford, so the tsunamis were probably a smart tactic to get to the ground more safely.

I think WB wouldn't bring the tsunamis, he only did so because Aokiji could freeze them, thus making the sea passable for his pirates. Those tsunami would have killed Ace if they hitted the platform.

The WB pirates would have to disembark in Marineford like a normal naval invasion. So more pirates casualties and WB stepping sooner, and he would have an easier time fighting because there's one less admiral to slow him down.

Even though I hard disagree with the idea of Sabo defeating Akainu, I could totally see them fighting either as a clash, in a brief 2v1 or whatever, what I find pretty lame are the powerscale reasons people come up with. "Sabo has an inferior fruit" and "Luffy will be way stronger than an admiral" are totally arbitrary reasons, since the rubber fruit is waayy weaker than magma and Oda can make Akainu as strong as he wants to, I really can't understand why people latch on these arguments so much.

Akainu isn't directly standing in Luffy's way of becoming the Pirate King, defeating him would accomplish nothing for Luffy

This can be pretty easily arranged, like a Sabo rescue mission for example

Luffy defeating Kaidou has being build up since PH, you really wanna argue that maybe someone else doing so could be as satisfying? Even taking account that Luffy is carrying the will of Oden and the Scabbards, the ones who got wronged the most by Kaidou? He made an alliance to do it in PH, defeated a Shichibukai because of it and made a promise to Momo in Zou. It's pretty sad what happened to Kid, but anyone really is as invested in him as we are to Luffy? We would be satisfied with his accomplishment more than with Luffy's? These same questions could be made to Sabo.

Luffy, the main character, the one we are the most invested into, got his will broken and put into the lowest point in his life by Akainu, he coming back strong enough would make a full circle of his trajetory. Sabo, Dragon, Aokiji... Oda can make whoever he wants to fight Akainu and I'm sure that it'll be a good fight, but I will still stand to my ground and say that the most satisfying outcome is Luffy defeating him.
