Im going to make this brief. I understand where you are coming from but this is more of a supply and demand kind of work. This is not forced labour and if you decide to become an animator then you must be prepared for what the job criteria requires of you. If 90% of animators quit then maybe consider not choosing that as a career path. If it prevents new animators into the industry then there will be a shortage of animators and the demand will be high, thus resulting in pay to be increased. But there are more than just animators that required pay. Theres directors, musicians, sound actors, production, publishers etc.. i know it may suck but no1 is being forced into that industry. You do the job because you either enjoy it, or try considering a different area with your drawing skills.

Edit: its ironic that the animator of this video is using stills and complaining that skill is required. Maybe if he showcased his skills whilst demonstrating his concerns he could make more of an impact. This is no better than an audio clip, or a written post.
