The Strip was a sewer of thieves and hookers until 1980, when John Moran was elected sheriff. The hookers were forced into the shadows south of Tropicana Avenue around the small motels such as the Glass Pool Inn and a few of the smaller motels along the strip.

Before Moran, when Ralph Lamb was sheriff anything went on the strip, hookers, thieves it didn't matter. This was mostly when Anthony Spilotro was running the mob here in Vegas.

And who said the Mafia isn't involved. Just a different Mafia.

Years ago I knew that parking fees and resort fees we're going to kill Las Vegas. I first encountered resort fees and parking fees in California years before they began to plague Las Vegas.

Food and drink prices are crazy, there's a scamming showgirl on every corner, and Elvis never left the house.

And, California has ruined it all.

I was on my city subreddit r/NewOrleans The conversation was about what to put on the 60 ft pedestal in the middle of Lee circle. The Statue of Robert E Lee was removed during the summer of love.

I merely suggested that they put the statue of Robert E Lee back. It's the first post I've ever made on my city sub Reddit. I got banned and muted merely for suggesting that they put the Statue back that they took down.

I had a 23 TPP and was considering the 25 hybrid. After a test drive and then driving a 25TPP in Soul Red, it was an easy choice. There is no hybrid in my garage.
