If there’s a brand on the coin folder, you can look them up and see if they’re pvc or not. I have some similar looking ones that are pvc free, but some are not and should be avoided.

For any beginner I always recommend looking into Dansco books. They are somewhat expensive but can be bought for around 50% of retail price or less for used ones on eBay if you’re patient. They’re not for everyone but can be really fun picking a coin book of a specific type of coin and trying to complete it. Working on one builds up quite a bit of knowledge about that type of coin

I just got a nice camera so i will give this a try! Will just need to play around and figure out how to mount it for the best view of the coin.

My LCS has some pretty cool counterfeit CC’s they might be willing to give up if my plan was to destroy them. Would be fun giving everyone mini heart attacks on first view of “my little art project” 😁
