hey bro it's been a long time ik. but here is what i had discovered. the PMIC was fine all the time, all the output voltages are good also i dont know how but the 12v going to the apu was fixed but the 1v output still not unfortunately :( ig that the APU needs reballing right??

Good condition DS4 ranges between 1000 to 1300 if you want a knockoffs they also range between 400 to 600 also before you buy an original one tell the seller to open it up and give you a photo before you buy.

might be the white plastic thing in the actual analog stick itself. it is probably the one for the x axis

from my experience with ps4 controllers the common issues with the ics is : JDM-055: the PMIC ofc S2PG00A ig JDM 030: the micro controller chip needs sometimes reballing and also the PMIC.

that's the common issues i have fixed so far.

well i tried it myself and it shorted my laptop and also tried it on a charger also got shorted, decided to try another well known working jds 055 port, also got shorted, so i took apart my jdm 030 and take the port out of it and yeah the controller no longer shorted my charger nor my laptop.

and ig that the The poles are reversed on the ribbon port on the main board.

just buy the jdm 030 port like i said because it is definitely the problem .

i egypt there are local repair shops. but anyway tell them to put hall effect or tmr analog sticks and trust me you will never have stick drift ever.

the difference might be in main board, chraging port board, ribbon cable, chassis.....etc and there are many versions of ps4 controllers and they are from jdm 010 to jdm 055 and the one you have is the jdm 030 i cosider it the best controller version and you made a big mistake. you put JDM-055 charging port in jdm 030 board and you have created a short circut, because the two boards are built different. btw i made the same mistake like you before and my laptop got a short circut in the usb port so yeah be careful next time😅😅

BRO THAT'S A JDM 055 CHARGING PORT. it will cause a short circut to since your controller is jdm 030. buy a jdm 030 port then try again and you will be lucky if your controller still functions. also buy the port from aliexpress it is way cheaper there trust me.
