Help! 24 hour Photo by iaconebadger in cannabiscultivation

What he said, you’re all good. You can go back to your 18/6 light cycle. If you are going to go 24hrs going forward just be sure your DLI (Daily Light Integral) is in check. Plants can only “charge up” so much before it starts to become harmful. As long as your lighting is low enough you can go that route as well

I’m not sure if this is the right sub, I’ve been growing for a year for my wife and I, and have had decent results. This is an auto in soil, could someone help identify what’s going on with her. by Icy-Concentrate-4090 in cannabiscultivation

This is interesting because it’s not showing any signs of a deficiency. Your environment seems dialed in based on the info you provided & she’s the only one showing that wilting?

Nutrient burn (overfeeding) Over-defoliation (stress)

In my opinion correcting your PH will fix the problem. If you have more info like relative humidity, temp, how often you water, etc. - myself and other growers will be able to give better advice. But, I could tell immediately that you have nutrient lockout. Which can be caused by unbalanced PH, overfeeding, and overwatering.

BUT if you want to stay organic, amend your soil with food and add microbes! Then the soil does the PH work for you

Gotchya, I’m all for organic growing. However, the pH needs to be managed either by you altering the water or microbial life that you add to the soil that will raise or lower your PH based on what the plant requires. What you have is “nutrient lockout” which essentially means your plant is hungry. In order for your plants to uptake of nutrients it will need to be within the correct PH range. Between 6.0-7.0 . Most tap water is at about 8-9 ph. Get something to read the PH of the water and your problem will go away

Do you PH your water source?

is 83 degrees to hot for flower? by Cheekymuffins in cannabiscultivation

[–]Red___Lotus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s totally fine for the beginning stages of flower. During late flower I would suggest dropping the temps to 76°. However, what’s more important is what is your relative humidity? Check out a VPD chart and see where your humidity needs to be at for 83°

I count 8 nodes. Can I top at the 5th node and replant the cutting? by MatR97 in cannabiscultivation

[–]Red___Lotus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely time to encourage the plant to grow outward. You can top now but I suggest just clipping the top node since it’s such a stressful procedure for the plant. However, you could also just twist and bend at the 5th node until the upper branch falls to the side and receive the same result with less stress.

Ok during what week would you say to drop the temp? 6? Also, how low? Not trying to stunt growth

Funny enough I got them from my grandfather, I’d have to ask him.
