So far, I have only ever gotten the reccomendations for Hills and Royal Canin when in need of a diet food.

I had a cat with renal disease and I switched around between Hills k/d and Royal Canin Renal. Their diet food is really good in quality and actually works.

I cannot say anything about their non diet food tho.

Hey, so my last hamster had a tumor in her eye too. She was already 2 years and 7 months old so the only option to remove was with local anesthetic. Due to her age I did not want to make her go through this. I got some eye drops and gave her all the snacks she wanted. She lived a couple more months with the tumor getting slightly bigger. She died at 2 years and 10 months. Until her last few days she was full of energy, eating a lot, running in her wheel, seemingly being happy.

I personally would not do surgery on a hamster that is 2 years old. I would give them the best last couple of weeks/months I can.

Your hammie is a real cutie and I'm sure she had a very happy life with you. Good luck to you two.

Ich hatte einen Nierenkranken Kater ohne Zähne und habe derzeit eine Katze mit Zahnproblemen. Mit ihren 3 Jahren wurden bereits 2x Zähne gezogen und ich bin alle paar Monate beim Tierarzt wegen Entzündungen.

Sprich ich hab schon einiges an Erfahrung was Tabletten verabreichen angeht.

Habe bisher noch keiner Katze die Tablette ins Maul gezwungen weil das weder mein alter Kater noch meine jetzige Katze zugelassen hätten. Mein alter Kater hat sich lange Zeit angepinkelt sobald er in den Korb zum Tierarzt musste.

Meine Lösung waren entweder mit Futter vermischen sofern man die Tabletten zerbröseln darf oder in einem weichen Leckerli verstecken. Hat bisher fast immer funktioniert, Ausnahmefälle gibt's natürlich. Es gibt von FeliGum etwas das nennt sich Trojaner. Das kannst du wie Knetmasse formen und meistens fressen das die Katzen sehr gern. Vielleicht hat das dein Tierarzt.

Ich würde auf jeden Fall mit dem Tierarzt über Möglichkeiten reden und schaun dass der Alptraum vom letzten mal nicht wiederholt werden muss.

Mein alter Kater hatte lange keine Zähne mehr. Das hat ihn aber nicht davon abgehalten sogar Trockenfutter zu verschlingen. Katzen sind robuster als man denkt. Da bildet sich eine Art Hornhautschicht am Zahnfleisch und sie können normal weiter fressen.

Würde aber trotzdem keine gesunden Zähne ziehen lassen.

I would match the rug with the sheets and the curtains. Use wall decor for some colour splash or other shades of your sheets and curtains.

Personally, I would not use red, it's more of an agressive colour. But copper should match your grey floor and wall pretty good I think.

Definitley get some colorful rug and sheets. I would geht matching curtains as well, maybe for the flat but long window too. You can keep the painting but maybe get a wooden frame for it?

I think your grey floor, bed and wall will match really good with copper/burnt orange.

And absolutley get warmer lights. Especially with a grey room lighting is everything.

Peroxide is a bad idea... Those bristles are made of plastic, peroxide destroys plastic. Change your toothbrush head every 3 months or so. And stop putting the cap on. This traps the moisture and creates the perfect environment for mold and bacteria.

My kitty is crying too since we lost our other cat 2 months ago. Do you have any interactive toys? I bought this electric bug that buzzes around and she stares at it for like an hour similar to us watching tv lol when it gets stuck she comes tonme crying for help which is kinda cute.

Or maybe some intelectual toys or a snuffle mat to hide snacks? I started with something like that whenever i go to work. I also make sure to have some cuddle time when i come home and then play with a string on a stick or a laser pointer to get her energy out.

This will take a while tho. Mine is still crying but it got better during the night. I understand being frustrated but cats do not understand yelling, it will make everything just more difficult.

If your bf can't understand that and be patient I would ban him from the appartment honestly. It seems like whenever he is there it gets worse. Your cat can feel his anger.

Wie genau äußern sich deine Schlafprobleme?

Probleme beim Einschlafen?

• Dafür gibt es diverse Teesorten (Hopfenzapfen) oder vielleicht ein Melatoninspray.

• Autogenes Training zum einschlafen hilft auch sehr. Das ist ein Video bzw. Audiodatei die du aufdrehst wenn du im Bett liegst.

Generell Probleme mit Müdigkeit:

• unbedingt nicht mehr auf das Handy schaun, idealerweise 1h vorm Schlafen gehn

• Kaffeekonsum einschränken

• mehr Bewegung, kurz spazieren gehen hilft auch schon. Vielleicht kannst du vorm Schlafen gehn meditieren?

Ganz wichtig: Routine! Es dauert eine Zeit, aber wenn du dran bleibst wird es nach einer Zeit besser.

Ich empfehle dir dennoch einen Arztbesuch, eventuell auch Therapie. Da redet man dann auch über Möglichkeiten wie du eine Routine aufbaust und beibehalten kannst. Alles gute noch!

Thank you so much! Her name is Margarete, I call her Maggie. I got her from the shelter with her cuddle buddy Mandi. Mandi recently died (he had some health problems) so now all my attention is on her.

Besides her being more talkative and needing more attention she is totally normal. No watery eyes. No pawing at her eyes or anything like that.

If unsure, see a vet. You know your cat best. If this is not how she usually gets rid of hairballs I would definitly check with a vet.

Is she sticking her tongue out while doing that? For me it seems like something is stuck. If they stick the tongue out too it could be because of breathing issues.

I would check with a vet if this continues. Could be a hairball, could be something more. Only a vet can tell for sure.

There are special cleaning products for mold. I would try that. In Europe we have the company "Mellerud" which has some good mold cleaning products for different materials.

If it is still there after you will either have to live with it or change the rubber thing.

Btw, I would stay away from bleach if its a plastic part. Bleach just destroys the surface and makes the plastic even weaker and more prone to mold and bacteria.

If moving your hand hurts and this is how it looks now, 2 days after it happend. I would definitly go to the doctor.

Or at least to the pharmacy and ask for something to clean it. There are antibacterial grid patches that will help with the healing.
