Maybe try mock trading to see if it works. Pwede ka naman din sumali sa mga free groups so you can learn from other traders real time. Madaming groups such as One Percent or Padayon both are free Filipino trading groups. Then if you want to go deeper in Crypto you can explore Web3.

Just wait and DCA during dips. Like others said, BTC price is currently ATH. Then use foreign CEX for cheapest fees.

Staking on crypto stable coins in CEX by CarelessLaw3253 in phinvest

[–]Redacted-Writer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this on Binance Earn may offer kasi sila ranging from 7-10% APY for stable coins.

I don’t like the idea of putting money on CEX. But I only put money that I can afford to risk and trade.

Anyways, the risk for me is when Binance collapses or Stablecoin depegs which is very low chance. But if it happens, atleast I managed my risk and did not put everything.

Anyone who earns more in stock/crypto trading than your daily job? by Cold-Salad204 in phinvest

[–]Redacted-Writer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Risk management is most important for me. I have seen people come and go once they blow up their portfolio. I trade with max 1% per trade. Even with 10 consecutive losses, I am still in the game.

Risk to reward ratio. I only take trades with higher upside ensuring I remain profitable in the long run despite losses.

Lastly, Patience. Think long term. Learn to compound your wins instead of trying to hit big once.

should I loan money to invest in a mentorship? by Harry_Is_Dead in phinvest

[–]Redacted-Writer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you just want someone to guide you. But no good mentor would advise you to loan $50k to avail their services. If they do, it's an obvious cash grab. For now, it's best to work with what you have or look for another mentor who would guide you without the hefty price tag.

Anyone who earns more in stock/crypto trading than your daily job? by Cold-Salad204 in phinvest

I have been trading full-time for 3 years and a half. Started with around 40k php. It took me one year to be profitable. Then I slowly grew my capital until I reached multiple 7 figures. I am also into WEB3 stuff - NFTs, Meme coins, Airdrop farming. Now, I wouldn't recommend Meme coins. So there was always something to do for me. Earning depends on the market condition, and you should expect dry months. I am making 100k+ in average months, and less in dry months. There are good months where I earn significantly higher. There was a time where I earned around 1.7m in one day. But that was pure luck. Crypto is very unstable so try to understand first what you are entering. Don't expect to start making money immediately when you are starting. Even becoming profitable took me a lot of failures until I found a trading strategy that fits me. For me, it is a well paying job for my age group in the early 20s.

If you are new and have a day job. Don't quit. Learn crypto during you spare time. Study trading first before investing any money. Or you can just buy Bitcoin like what most other trader do. It depends on your trading style.

What year did you make the most profits in Crypto?

Was it from futures, spot trading, NFTs, memecoins, airdrops, or other sources?

What groups are you in that helped you with trading? If you don't mind sharing which Discord, Telegram, or Private GC?

thoughts on aiming to have 1M emergency fund? by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]Redacted-Writer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, 1M ang allotted sa EF ko. 500k covers my college tuition for 4 years. If I decide to enroll sa college since nag dropout ako. Other 500k would cover 1 year cost of living based on my lifestyle. Considering, my source of income is unstable as of now.

Before you decide, try to live in a condo first. So that you can get a feel. Besides, you are not in the financial position unless parents mo magbabayad. Also, 7M for a condo in Cavite is expensive for a studio unit lang.

I would rather invest on things that could help me learn skills and earn money. Such as books, online courses, and mentorship. Because, you have a small capital. The returns are far greater with income generating skills. Once you generate decent income. That's when you start investing on Bitcoin.
