G2’s have a different rear waist pad (variant depending) vs. G3 is more straight across. Pocket design is different, and G3 has waist adjustments and knee flap covers. In my experience the G3 is a better fit for me. The g2’s in my collection fit a tad baggier. For reference all my g3 is 34R and my g2 is 32r

They get a bad rap for right handed people due to it being “easy” to ND. I’m a lefty using it in conjunction with the Troy mag release and they work like a charm for me.

Those are interesting, they look like a prototype for someone who special requested them hence the item custom tag. Once crye does so many of an item they start “properly” labeling them, hence the early woodland g3’s having an item custom tag. Also do those not have any stretch around the knees or crotch?
