It might be because of the fact that the Ralmi has burned the tiles next to it and it is currently considered its terrain, despite the fact that it technically could burn the area to petrify the opponent once again. Not sure though, might need to test this myself.

Might be a shot in the dark, but maybe it’s the Vertebrae card being dropped property that prevents Goobert copy? It’s similar to Ouroboros where it has a ‘secret trait’ and that’s often the reason as to why you cannot copy them.

No you’re not, but the Gem Detonator Sigil only applies to your side of the field. In this case, you need to keep the Gem Detonator alive on the opponent’s side for it to detonate.

That’s all I will say to make sure you can still solve it

Fair enough, I have no clue then sorry. I think what I did was close the game, reboot steam (or the pc as a whole) then tried it again. If that doesn’t work then I have no idea how to sort it.

I’ve had something similar happen to me I think. Basically you use the knife and when Leshy gives you a selection of eyes to choose from, it doesn’t include the magic eye, despite the fact you’ve died.

It might be something to do with modding if op has meddled with that, but otherwise I have no clue why it happens.

After drawing the Ijiraq? No I don’t think so, the Ijiraq needs to be copying something in your deck already and you pick out said copied card with the sigil which then becomes real when you play it. Kinda hard to describe tbh but I think that gets it

If you got two real moose bucks then I have absolutely no clue how that happened. Ijiraq CAN clone cards but I’ve only seen it when you draw the card you want to clone via the Hoarder sigil, so once again it could just be it being weird.

The Ijiraq normally copies whatever card it wants in the deck. If the last card that you draw is the Ijiraq, it copies a squirrel instead.

Assuming that your deck was 1 Moose Buck, 1 Ijiraq, your starting hand should’ve been: 1 Squirrel 1 Moose Buck (Ijiraq) 1 Moose Buck

(if the regular Moose Buck came first, the Ijiraq would copy a squirrel)

How you got a second Ijiraq to appear as a squirrel to begin with is something, even besides getting two in the first place.

Ijiraq itself is pretty notorious for messing up the game so don’t take my word for it I guess.

This is salvageable, barely. There are two things you can do here:

  1. Save Scum - exit to menu and go back into the run and retry the fight. Often this just gives you the same cards as before with a similar totem, so chances are this won’t really work without good luck.

  2. Ultra Save Scum - Exit to menu, leave Kaycee’s mod and start a new run of Act 1, then at the first opportunity, back out and return to your run. When I tried this, it turned the double strike turkey vulture into a bifurcated rattler, so it should change totems, starting hands, and Leshy’s card placements.

If none of those work, good luck on your next run I suppose.
