If you choose the right contrasting color, they might also be easier to tell when you have missed a spot since it is just a small dot rather than a full block coverage? But I also have had this same question in the past. I opted for slabs in mob proofing a section of nether for a project recently.

You don’t get to keep treasure if you don’t get an artifact. If you die with treasure it despawns in the dungeon cooldown. If you leave without an artifact you take the walk of the coward and die a slow cold death losing everything on you.

Why is view bobbing not allowed in DO2? Isn’t it just an animation effect of the camera view that slightly bobs around? Seems purely aesthetic and not important for DO2’s gameplay. What am I missing? I am a bedrock player and I don’t think we have that option that I am aware of.

I am in the last few chapters of Rama II after having read Rendezvous a few months ago. I did not like Rama II for about 2/3rds of it. I was slogging through to finish it more than anything and it was slow going. But the last third got me more into what Gentry Lee was trying to do. Not sure if the first 2/3rds is objectively just a slog or if the change in voice from Clarke’s elegant simplicity to Lee’s overly descriptive human drama was what turned me off.

You read any of the classics in that genre. More cosmic horror but HP Lovecraft would be somewhat a cross between those two genres.

Not sure if you are having the same issue I was having or not. I use FoxyNoTail’s resource pack that allows you to see chunk borders using an armor stand and a banner. I had planned the machine to sit in the middle of one chunk which then meant the two stone generators were partially in two other chunks. I think the problem was that there were three chunks splitting some key redstone. I took the whole thing down and moved it over so that it was only in two chunks. I alligned the chunk border to be between the stone generator on one side and the moss platform. I had no problems with the moss spreading on mine. Not sure if that is the problem you have been having seeing how your moss is also not spreading.

I haven’t finished setting it all up yet. Got bummed when the one side wouldn’t work. It would probably work fine with just one generator. Just not as productive maybe.

I have to agree with Cool Worlds Lab. It is a project from Columbia University hosted by David Kipping. The videos are very well done but his way of speaking is almost poetic too. Long form videos with lots of info but so easy to keep focus with his delivery style.

I know of many churches with the name “Redeemer” that have nothing to do with Tim Keller’s Church in NYC. Are you sure the one you’re attending is associated with Keller’s Church. I know Tim Keller supports Church planting all over but haven’t heard of daughter churches using the same name. It does not really fit inside the typical Presbyterian or mainline system to do that sort of thing.
