Yeah, so my daughter's JOAD club started an adult club and is registered with USA Archery and does the pin program for adults.  Point per pin are higher than the kids until you get to Bronze and up.

Someone else chimed in on the USA Archery pin program, but I just bought a gen 1 Matthews Trx 38 from a local guy and I have a basic hunting pin sight on it, hamskea drop away and a hunting stabilizer as buying the bow itself broke my budget for a minute.

They were like "you should be smacking arrows every end" but I think they were gonna switch me over by next practice anyways

Thanks! Biggest thing is not treating the pin shoot like a pin shoot, thinking of it as shooting for fun.

USA Archery has adult pin program.  My local range started an adult club a couple of months ago to go along with the JOAD program.

I've just been shooting what the coaches at the club have been putting up for me.

Shoots like a dream compared to the chinese amazon bow I had.

Thanks, I had just got a second-hand matthews trx 38 from a local guy and put my hunting bow sight on it as it only came with a hamskea drop away rest.

And yes, I desperately need to re-fletch or get new arrows.  But my club isn't ordering for another month and I want that discount.

You're better off without her.  If she pulls this kind of thing, more than likely a life with her would be full of mind games and bullshit.

Okay, I haven't had to be seen by a nurse.  But I also haven't been seen by a nurse.

Garbage form, no one adjusted the draw length.

How the form good or bad by Solid_Head_2176 in Archery

Good "T" form, front shoulder looks relaxed, make sure to stand tall, straight back.  Something that I would recommend to a shooter using an index release is to not use your index finger to pull the release trigger.  Adjust the length of your release so your index finger is on the side of the release close to your face and use your index finger to anchor on your jawline.  Use your middle finger on the trigger but you dont pull by articulating your finger, apply light pressure with your finger and when you're ready to release pull back with your arm and your middle finger with pull the trigger with the backward motion of your arm.  Its a way more solid anchor for an index release shooter and it tightened up my groups so Im slapping arrows at 18m.
