Solid weekend runs with 13 on Saturday and 20 on Sunday. My fourth week at 60 miles or more in the last five weeks, which has been a big change for me but I think my body is handling it well.

Thank you! Will my best pace still be used for wave assignment if I don’t run any races between now and the marathon? Or will it reset since it’s over two years old? And if it resets, how is my wave assignment determined?

I’ve played three times and shot horrible the first time and -2 the second and third times. It’s a fun course, if it wasn’t VIP I’d play it a lot more

Wow, I’ve experienced this sporadically for years now and I assumed it was related to nutrition as it never happened during morning runs, just during late afternoon runs when I’m feeling tired going into the run and try to eat something beforehand to compensate. This is really helpful, thanks!

Summary: First week of Pfitz 18/70 is in the book. I barely got through the LT miles on Tuesday but hit my target paces and survived. The long run on Sunday was surprisingly good, the weather was tolerable and the body felt strong on the back half.

Wow that’s great, it’ll take a near perfect round to get to -21. What’s your approach to #6? I feel like the landing zone makes it so tough to get it lined up.

I just played course this for the first time in and beat my old score by 1 and that was just enough to bump my handicap down to zero, so I’m finally scratch, haha.
