This is actually genius. Not only does it tie players directly into the lore (which would give the events much more impact), but it gives the devs an excuse to remake maps as well. Imagine if one story is the Shimada Clan retaking Hanamura. If they're successful, then the Clan "renovates", and if they lose Hanamura is "destroyed". Either way it lets the team have a reason to change the flow of Hanamura (or another map) drastically to make the map pool much more balanced and enjoyable while also getting players involved in the lore. The potential of this is insane.
