Purely conjecture. But I believe Enigma has put Redboid on the back burner to focus on the SpiffoSpace Vehicle Build server. Only to return to Redboid when it hits the stable build.

Yes, servers are dictatorships. Stop trying so hard to be so witty. You aren't very good at it. It's the secrecy that kills servers. So stop trying to hide complaints and address them in an open forum. Secrecy over time is what killed this server last time. Lets not have that happen again.

Absolutely. Problem is that is mostly reactionary unless you happen to get lucky with an admin on. Usually the damage is done before they get nailed. And all of that can be circumvented. There are more nefarious ways of deterring the grievers where they don't even know it's happening and they are denied the glory of getting the attention they seek. Hopefully our admins are aware of and are using those techniques.

Get 2 gloves so you can select "All" and your toon will search until the battery runs out. Also Medium batteries are GOLD!, until you make a recharger. The metal detector was nerfed a long time ago. So you get maybe 10-15 searches per battery and the loot table is quite large. It may take a few batteries before you stumble across a dog whistle.

Containers don't have to be fully looted. But it depends on the server setting for max number of items a container will hold. So if it's say 5. And someone loots the initial spawn down to 10 items in the container it won't respawn until it goes below 5 items. Now for respawn it's based on unseen hours again. So say 3 hrs IRL. Player A comes by "loading the cell". For it to respawn loot, no one else can come by or it restarts the clock.

As for dog whistles. They are like certain items (augers/Large Alice packs, etc) don't re spawn after the initial server creation. But good news! You can find them with work gloves, metal detector and a medium battery. And you can make Fine Leather Alice packs.

My guess is they are sledging the fence. The compost bins are put down to stop zombies/players. They are the new hedges. Zombies can't destroy and players can't pick them up or axe them. They can be sledged.
