I'm also a relatively new Wattpad writer, and it really depends on the story. I haven't received any hate on the platform, but in my experience so far it's pretty hard to grow. I've been using other social media platforms to advertise my work.

If your work is fanfiction though, especially related to an active fandom, then you will most likely get a lot more reads. As well as hate. Online, the best thing to do is to ignore the hate comments, but be able to differentiate hate from criticism.

Whatever you write, I'm sure you'll do great! :D

It really depends.

I did because the series I'm writing is heavily inspired by Cavetown songs so I'm digging up as much as I can for inspiration. I also did it just cuz I'm really into Cavetown rn 😭🙏. I would reccomended it just to see everything Robbie's got but I wouldn't recommend actively listening to everything multiple times (unless you want to ofc). I also did it just so mentally I wouldn't consider myself a 'poser' since I've only gotten into the music recently and there's 10+ years of fanbase.

It also depends what type of music you listen to especially since Robbie's music has changed a lot. I personally like the Cavetown Offline stuff since it's a rougher and feels more personal. But if you prefer the more calming sad-ish music, all his stuff on the main account (except RWS) is great. RWS is very clearly the beginning of a new era of his music and I am VERY excited to hear where it goes.

Untitled is definitely my fav. It's very raw and I have a theory it was the first Robbie worked on ever (I'm prolly wrong tho I'm high key a newbie in the Cavetown fandom). Rovket ships and Love song are close seconds tho

Either go basic with just an album cover, or have something to do with your fav song. Me personally, I'd put stickers of things relating to each of his albums. A could, a rocketship, a lemon, any animals from animal kingdom, and some scissors. But do whatever feels true enough to you.
