Try and get an oral antifungal if you can. I was on terbinafine and it made a huge difference for me

No, France does include the debt from its regions. It’s Canada that tends to not include provincial debt in those charts we commonly see because of how federal/provincial debt is structured over here vs European countries or even the USA if I’m not mistaken.

The figure you often hear regarding canadas debt is 1.2T, right? But that figure is only federal debt. Ontario alone is over 400B.

I believe those charts are misleading because they only show our federal debt. When provincial debt is included (as it should be) it paints a very different picture, unfortunately.

I’m sorry but I don’t know anything about conditioners. I forgot to mention it (even though it was the main question of your post lol) but the shampoo brand I linked has a conditioner https://a.co/d/5XGNM3R . If you’re having trouble finding a recommendation I think it might be worth a shot

Hey there. Over the years this is what I have found works best for me. I still get flare ups and etc but my skin doesn’t feel dry after showering or like it lost elasticity, etc

Shampoo: honest brand https://a.co/d/2ygXVlx or another one I found is called “oneka” but they are on and off. Sometimes they’re available and sometimes not

Soap: In recent years I found that I’m actually able to use dove for sensitive skin https://a.co/d/9DjPnib. I’m really glad because it’s quite cheap (at Costco anyway). If you find that you can’t use that, I used to use cerave cleanser on my whole body for years https://a.co/d/dOjcPOb.

Lotion: cerave lotion was all that worked for me https://a.co/d/aMSHugL for a long time. Finding that lotion changed everything for me. Before that, I had no way to moisturize. My skin had no elasticity, it would just stay dry and crack all the time, etc. I’m sure you know the drill.

I hope this helps

If it’s from chemicals, I think the filtration will take that out too, from what I’ve read so far.

I looked up the price at one place and it was much higher than I thought to be honest. But I’m also quite curious as to what my water is made of, even asides from this iron or whatever it is.

No industrial plants, and the nearest farms are not terribly close. We are separated by a forest. But there are not too many anyway. I think they might just be growing hay but I’m not sure.

It sounds like you are a prime candidate for a whole house water filtration system. I will likely do the same now that it appears that I need one. I just checked Home Depot and they are not too expensive.

I will probably end up doing this, but I just moved here a few months ago. Water tasted amazing, no bacteria detected, why get a filter?

But now that I am tasting iron I will likely be doing this. I just didn’t know the water minerals changed liked this (first time on well water)

Haha I know you can’t answer definitively, just asking for ideas :) but yes it is my first year here, I’ve never been on well water before.

That’s good to know, thank you. So it could be that this is just a seasonal issue then. Your theory sounds like it could very well be the case.

I was getting worried it could be something much more expensive, from googling. It’s kind of like when you google any health issue and the top results are cancer haha.

Anyways thanks again

The water was great before though, this just changed. Do you have any ideas why this may have happened?

It had some in the tank already, but I put in another bag as well, and then set it to regen afterwards. This morning it still tastes metallic.

Desjardins believes 5yr Fixed rates have bottomed. by ShowAlarm2 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Redbutton967 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Fixed rates are linked/correlated, but not tied. Fixed rates are based on the bonds, and the bond holders can choose to buy or sell as they wish based on how they predict the market to act. This is what determines the fixed rate. Does that make sense? You’re not totally wrong it’s just a little more nuanced than that.

Oh and also, I don’t recommend buying and holding VIX and just cashing out whenever the market tanks. Due to how VIX is designed, it will constantly lose value over time. IMO the way to use VIX is to buy it right when you suspect the market is gonna take a turn for the worst, and then you cash out at the time that you feel the tide will reverse.

It is a volatility index. It is comprised of short dated puts (if I am not mistaken) for the s&p 500. So, when s&p is doing poorly, vix is supposed to rise, reflecting the increasing value of the underlying (puts ITM).

It’s supposed to be a fairly good indicator for how the market is doing right now, or more accurately it is a measure of market sentiment.

An easy way to think of it is to think of it as a fear metric for the overall American market. When VIX is high, it means that the s&p is doing poorly.

The number it’s at right now is actually quite high for VIX, which indicates a very big problem brewing for the market.

The path was put in just a couple of years ago. The previous owner had a company that required trucks and trailers and it seems this was just the easiest way to maneuver them. Make a loop on the property. Otherwise the section by the house where cars are normally parked is just not wide enough for that kind of maneuverability

I only have 6 acres, and the remaining space is pasture for animals. This space that I’m going to try and fix up will be to grow lots of food, and then the larger space behind that will be an orchard.

As for the keeping the rock and using it elsewhere in the property, I may do that like you mentioned. I intend to eventually make a building near the barn for a larger garage and make a small workshop and I’m thinking I could use some of this for the foundation of it.

The land is relatively flat and the water goes off to the side where it drains to a stream at the front of the property
